The FBI arrested a bunch of dudes who were allegedly plotting to kidnap and kill Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitman. The left has already blamed this entirely on President Trump, but these are not people who deal in facts. As it turns out, the plotters are actually anarchists, which aligns them more with Antifa than the President. This is an inconvenient fact that the liberal media is already working hard to bury. We can’t have people learning the truth behind the violent left.
First, here’s Fox News with the plot:
The FBI uncovered a plot by an armed militia in Michigan to kidnap Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, it annnounced Thursday.
Seven members of militia group Wolverine Watchmen, or associates of Wolverine Watchmen, face 19 state felony charges filed by Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel. Separately, six individuals were charged by U.S. Attorney Andrew Birge with federal felonies following search warrants executed Wednesday.
The suspects, now under arrest, are accused of calling on the groups’ members to identify the homes of law enforcement officers in order to target them; making threats of violence to instigate a civil war leading to societal collapse; and engaging in planning and training for an operation to attack the state Capitol and kidnap government officials, including Gov. Whitmer.
Nothing in the charging documents links these kooks to President Trump but here’s Michigan Governor doing it:
“Just last week, the president of the United States stood before the American people and refused to condemn white supremacists and hate groups like these two Michigan militia groups. ‘Stand back and stand by,” he told them. Stand back and stand by. Hate groups heard the president’s words not as a rebuke but as a rallying cry, as a call to action,” said Whitmer.

Actually Trump did condemn white supremacists in last week’s debate, but again these are not people who like facts.

Cop-hating/government-hating/America-hating anarchist doesn’t exactly scream “Trump supporter.” It does scream “Antifa” however. Loud and clear.
Hey, remember in that same debate where Trump condemned white supremacy and Joe Biden refused to condemn Antifa and leftist violence? Is it fair to say that Joe Biden is responsible for encouraging this plot?
Obviously the liberal media is not going to report on these videos of the plotters’ ideology because it’s a better story if these kooks are Trump supporters who wanted to kidnap and kill a democrat. It fits their false narrative that President Trump is inspiring violence and hatred across the country and allows them to continue to ignore the actual violence and hatred perpetrated by leftist groups like Antifa and BLM.
