Alexandria Ocasio Cortez goes by her initials “AOC.” It’s her Twitter @ as well as something she markets herself as. This is what she wants to be called except for when President Trump does it and then it becomes sexist. During the Thursday presidential debate, Trump gave AOC a shoutout for being a socialist and she responded with one of her typical braindead hissy fits.
In the debate, President Trump knocked Joe Biden for supporting the Green News Deal which would kill every job and turn this country into a socialist hellhole with everyone dependent upon the government. He mentioned that this shitty plan is championed by “AOC plus 3” meaning Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and her 3 “Squad” mates, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and that black skinhead chick whose name I can never remember.
AOC likes to be called AOC and she is one of the people who introduced the Green New Deal, so there shouldn’t be a problem here. And yet…
I wonder if Republicans understand how much they advertise their disrespect of women in debates when they consistently call women members of Congress by nicknames or first names while using titles & last names when referring to men of = stature.
Women notice. It conveys a lot.

Government colleagues referring to each other in a public or professional context (aka who don’t know me like that) should refer to their peers as “Congresswoman,” “Representative,”etc. Basic respect 101

This already dumb but it reaches an AOC level of stupidity because it’s aimed at Trump, a guy who calls everyone of both sexes by nicknames. “Little Adam Schitt,” “Cryin’ Chuck Schumer,” and “Da Nang Blumenthal” are all male lawmakers that Trump doesn’t use titles and full names for. Doesn’t she get tired of being wrong?
The reality is, Trump calling her “AOC” is the nicest possible thing he could say. If he were to nickname her like the male democrats, she’d be known as “Donkey Teeth,” or “Dipshit.”
The truly sad thing for AOC is that what she’s really doing here is begging for respect. Someone should tell her that unlike everything else in her life, respect is something she has to earn. Being a whiny entitled idiot is not going to do it.
But wait, because this is AOC, there is even more dumb going on with this faux outrage/cry for attention. After bitching that Trump called her “AOC” she is literally trying to make and sell AOC t-shirts:

Gee, is it sexist of AOC to put AOC on shirt instead of her proper full name and title? Instead of “AOC and Me” It should be “Alexandria Ocasio Cortez – ex and future bartender/village idiot.”
It’s been a while since we’ve heard from AOC and I think it’s great she’s back. With the coronavirus and never-ending lockdown, we all need a good laugh right about now.
