Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, instituted a ban on gendered terms like “father and mother” because she’s a powermad leftist kook. She will no doubt be bringing down the ethics hammer on her fellow democrats who have chosen to willfully defy her order. Either that or this is another one of those liberal rules which only applies to others.
