Now that he’s the illegitimate president, Biden is imposing his own travel bans to stop the spread of COVID-19 and for some reason this is not racist and xenophobic. According to Joe Biden, travel bans to stop the spread of the coronavirus are the racist and xenophobic acts of a hateful bigot. Well, it used to be that way because as Reuters reports, travel bans are cool now:
President Joe Biden will impose a ban on most non-U.S. citizens entering the country who have recently been in South Africa starting Saturday in a bid to contain the spread of a new variant of COVID-19, a senior U.S. public health official told Reuters.
Biden on Monday is also reimposing an entry ban on nearly all non-U.S. travelers who have been in Brazil, the United Kingdom, Ireland and 26 countries in Europe that allow travel across open borders.
Then-President Donald Trump directed on Jan. 18 those restrictions on Brazil and Europe be lifted effective Tuesday but Biden’s proclamation will rescind that decision.
Biden actually reimposed a Travel ban that Trump had lifted? Biden literally said on March 18, 2020 that banning travel from Europe “will not stop” the coronavirus.
Also, South Africa? Is there anything more racist and xenophobic than banning travel to and from the land of Nelson Mandela?
“We are adding South Africa to the restricted list because of the concerning variant present that has already spread beyond South Africa,” said CDC stooge Dr. Anne Schuchat, adding, “[We’re] putting in place this suite of measures to protect Americans and also to reduce the risk of these variants spreading and worsening the current pandemic.”
How can Biden possibly protect Americans with a set of travel bans that he has said are racist and xenophobic?
The only answer that makes any sense is that Biden is completely full of shit.
Luckily for Biden, the liberal media is also full of shit and won’t call him out on his glaring hypocrisy. When Trump was imposing travel bans the liberal media accused him of racism, but look at the way Reuters is coving Biden’s travel ban:
