Did Trump Supporters Really Murder Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick?

The liberal media tells us that 5 people died at the Capitol protests on January 6: One unarmed Trump supporter was shot by Capitol Police, 3 Trump supporters died of pre-existing medical conditions, and Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick was allegedly beaten to death by Trump supporters. Since democrats are using Sicknick as a prop to call the protests a “deadly insurgency” and to impeach Donald Trump, it’s a fair question to ask if Trump supporters really murdered him.

On orders from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and Senate Majority Leader Chick Schumer, the body of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick will lie in honor in the Capitol Rotunda today and then he will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery. This is a curious move from democrats, who normally don’t like cops and it seems to be tied to Donald Trump’s upcoming impeachment trial.

There are however many more suspicious things involving Sicknick’s death. Initially on January 6th, CNN reported that a Capitol police officer had been killed by Trump supporters who hit him with a fire extinguisher. CNN has since scrubbed that report from their website and they appear to be the original source for the fire extinguisher aspect of the story.

After all the other networks picked up on CNN’s report, a Capitol Police spokesperson issued this correction on January 7 around 5pm: “Media reports regarding the death of a United States Capitol Police (USCP) officer are not accurate.  Although some officers were injured and hospitalized yesterday, no USCP officers have passed away.”

Then a couple hours later the U.S. Capitol Police made this announcement:

At approximately 9:30 p.m. this evening (January 7, 2021), United States Capitol Police Officer Brian D. Sicknick passed away due to injuries sustained while on-duty.

Officer Sicknick was responding to the riots on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at the U.S. Capitol and was injured while physically engaging with protesters.  He returned to his division office and collapsed.  He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Things get weirder because at 10:28pm, an hour after USCP announced Sicknick’s death, CNN reported that he was alive and on life support:

A Capitol Police officer is on life support Thursday night after a mob of President Donald Trump’s supporters stormed the US Capitol a day before, according to Capitol Police union chair Gus Papathanasiou.

CNN reported Thursday evening, citing three sources, that the officer had died. One of CNN’s sources said that Capitol Police officers were gathered and told that the officer had passed away.

Papathanasiou told WUSA — a local Washington, DC, television news station — that the officer died. Later Thursday, the Capitol Police released a statement stating no officers had died as a result of Wednesday’s riot.

Papathanasiou retracted his statement to WUSA and told CNN the officer was still on life support.

Then there’s the sticky point about the fire extinguisher. Remember CNN is the only source for this and the USCP statement doesn’t mention it. A few days later, a former Obama campaign staffer, released a video of a Trump supporter hitting Capitol Police officers with a fire extinguisher:

Senator Bill Cassidy, a Republican, tweeted and deleted that the Capitol Police were looking for the guy from that video and considered him a suspect in Sicknick’s murder:

But it turned out that Sicknick was not one of the officers hit by a fire extinguisher.

At this point it looks like a narrative was developed that Trump supporters murdered a Capitol Police officer with a fire extinguisher and when they couldn’t make the facts fit the story, it was changed.

There are some other questions around this. Reportedly Sicknick was assaulted by Trump supporters but finished his shift. He then returned to the station where he collapsed and, according to CNN, “had a stroke.” Has there been an autopsy? What was his official cause of death? I can find no evidence of an autopsy report but his family issued a statement saying his cause of death was “unknown.”

Also, where’s the video? There are hundreds of hours of video from the Capitol protests but I can’t seem to find any that show officer Sicknick. The FBI has used these videos to track down and arrest over 100 protesters, but no media outlet or law enforcement agency has released a video or still shot that shows Sicknick. Where was he stationed? Where was he assaulted? Was he even there?

Just the fact that no suspect has been arrested or identified seems odd. I would think that this would be the #1 priority for law enforcement. The got the Buffalo Guy, but don’t have any leads on a cop-killer?

Maybe Officer Sicknick really was murdered by protesters. It’s possible that he could have been struck with a fire extinguisher and that triggered a stroke later and he died. There are however a lot of mysteries surrounding the official story and the fact that democrats are using him as a prop to push their conservative purge raises legitimate questions that need to be clarified.

Generally speaking, when something smells fishy it’s because it’s a rotting carp.
