Joe Biden has said only dictators rule through executive order but he’s also a lying, flip-flopping, hypocrite so he’s ruled exclusively through executive orders in the first few weeks of his illegitimate presidency. Biden has been threatening gun control so it’s no surprise that he intends to ram through this unconstitutional agenda through executive action. Hey, if he’s going to violate the Constitution by infringing a right, he might as well go big and violate the Constitutional separations of power by legislating from the Oval Office.
The Hill reports that the Biden administration has been huddling with anti-2nd Amendment groups trying the find a way around the Constitution:
White House officials met last week with several gun violence prevention groups as they weigh how to move forward on an issue that has stymied Democrats for years.
The White House says President Biden is “personally committed” to action on an issue he has tackled many times in the past. Less than a month into the new administration, Biden officials are meeting with advocates backing reforms that Democrats have been pushing for in Congress, like strengthening background checks.
This meeting was a who’s who of America-hating anti-gun leftists:
Brady, Giffords, Everytown for Gun Safety and Moms Demand Action met virtually on Wednesday with Susan Rice, the head of the Domestic Policy Council, and Cedric Richmond, a senior adviser to the president.
And what was the conclusion of this secret meeting of 2nd Amendment-haters? I’m glad you asked:
Officials familiar with the meeting said Rice and Richmond signaled the White House was prepared to use multiple avenues to try to curb gun violence, including executive action, though the administration has yet to roll out any specific proposals.
But that “multiple avenues” thing actually means just executive action:
“I think everything is on the table. I think the White House is certainly supportive of Congress doing their part. I think there are things we’d like to see happen through legislation. … But certainly there is a role for executive action,” said Giffords director of federal affairs Adzi Vokhiwa.
Something confirmed by Moms Demand Action founder Shannon Watts:
“We look forward to working with the administration to save lives and stop gun violence, and we’re confident that we will see executive and legislative action in the near future,” said Watts.
While no specifics were given, John Feinblatt, president of Everytown for Gun Safety, spilled the beans that it will be related to disarming the 75 million people who voted for Trump, who the democrats have branded “white supremacists.”
“This meeting provided more evidence that the Biden Administration is committed to being the strongest we’ve ever seen on gun safety. With Covid making gun violence worse and armed extremists literally holding our democracy at gunpoint, the time for action is now — and we fully expect to see it soon,” said Feinblatt.
Basically Biden plans to combine his love of gun control and tyranny to further push the Great Conservative Purge of 2021.
Noticeably absent from this meeting were any Constitutional experts or gun ownership rights advocates, but he clearly isn’t interested in the legality or morality of his gun control agenda.
