Since taking office, Joe Biden has ruled by executive action, delivering a leftist’s wet dream of job-killing America-destroying orders. The problem however is that it is never enough for the leftists. Insipid socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is furious with Biden because his student loan forgiveness plan isn’t quite socialist enough for her liking.
Progressives claim that when a person makes the conscious decision to go massively into debt getting a gender studies degree at an expensive private liberal arts college, it is the responsibility of the American taxpayer to cover that loan. As such, Senators Elizabeth Warren and Chuck Schumer have come up with a plan for us to pay up to $50,000 per person who made a really bad life choice.
Joe Biden however says he’s only willing to steal $10,000 of our money to “forgive” student loans:

Biden made all sorts of deals with the socialist wing of the democratic party to get the nomination, but now he’s going back on his promises and AOC is pissed:
1. Who cares what school someone went to? Entire generations of working class kids were encouraged to go into more debt under the guise of elitism. This is wrong.

Just wait until Biden fails to kill all the cows and build a bridge to Hawaii with the Green New Deal. AOC’s going to flip her lid.
While AOC is clearly upset with Biden for not delivering on this socialist redistribution of wealth scheme, she’s also still AOC and manages to make it stupid. She says the case against student loan forgiveness is getting “shakier by the day,” which is preposterous. There is no case in favor of it and the case against it has always been rock solid:
Taxpayers shouldn’t have to bail out people who made poor choices. Period. Case closed.
The case against student loan forgiveness is even greater because this ridiculous idea actually punishes people for being responsible. Tens of millions of people have repaid their students loans. What does AOC say to those people? “Sorry, your’e shit out of luck for doing the right thing.”
And where does it stop, because we know it’s never enough for leftists. Will we “forgive” credit card debt? Will we cover home loans? Nobody holds a gun to anyone’s head and makes them get a loan. This is a deliberate decision and it’s not our responsibility to cover the debt of people who never considered the obvious consequences of taking out a loan.
