The liberal media has been pushing the false narrative that white Trump-supporting bigots have been attacking Asians in a wave of hate. Unfortunately for them, almost all of the perpetrators of these attacks are decidedly not white or Trump supporters. They finally caught a break because a white guy went on an Asian shooting spree in Atlanta and, before the facts are in, are blaming Trump and the Republicans.
First, the crime as reported by Fox News:
The Georgia State Patrol used a tactical PIT (pursuit intervention technique) maneuver Tuesday evening on a freeway to stop the suspect after three deadly shootings in and around Atlanta left at least eight people dead, according to a report.
Robert Aaron Long, 21, was taken into custody without incident, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Long was reportedly driving south on Interstate 75 in Crisp County when he was outmaneuvered by the state trooper.
Investigators said the first shooting occurred at about 5 p.m. at Young’s Asian Massage in the town of Ackworth, in Cherokee County. Two victims died at the scene and three were transported to a hospital, where two later died.
Less than an hour after the first shooting, police in the Buckhead neighborhood, in northeast Atlanta, responded to a call of a robbery in progress and found three women dead from apparent gunshot wounds at Gold Spa.
While at that scene, police received a call of shots fired at another spa across the street, Aromatherapy Spa, and found a woman who appeared to have been shot dead inside the business.
At least six of the eight victims were Asian women, authorities said, adding that it’s too early to say if race played a role.
Now here’s USA Today and LA Times writer Kurt Bardella on MSNBC:
Bardella was asked who he blames for the shooting spree and shockingly didn’t say the shooter:
“It all coincides with the rhetoric of the Republican party using terms like ‘China Virus’ and ‘Kung-Flu,’” said Bardella.
But it was actually Trump who Bardella feels should take the blame:
“How do you condone rhetoric that has been proven to show in sites of violence and hate and makes the world more dangerous for people like me, how do you condone that behavior? How do you clap when someone says China Virus and look the other way time and again when the leader of your party continues to use this type of inflammatory rhetoric?” Bardella said.
Clearly he’s referencing former President Trump as the leader of the Republican Party.
Finally, Bardella ties it all together:
“We know just after watching the events of January 6, that the supporters of the Trump movement that will take their words literally and perpetrate violence against the targets of them,” said Bardella.
So Trump calling COVID-19 the “China Virus” made some asshole kill Asian message parlor workers in Atlanta? That’s one hell of a stretch, even for a liberal media bullshitter.
You know I hate to float conspiracy theories, but isn’t it convenient that when democrats and the fake news industry were having trouble selling their “racist white Trump supporters are attacking Asians” narrative, along comes a white guy who kills a bunch of Asians? There are no coincidences when it comes to the left.
It also can’t be a coincidence that this shooting spree coincides with the democrats’ gun control push in Congress.
