A continued border crisis continues to mount as journalists are granted zero access to the Biden administration’s surge facilities. The inconsistent messaging of the administration has caused a surge of migrants attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border illegally. According to Daily Mail, U.S. Border Patrol agents apprehended over 100,000 migrants last month – up 30 percent from January.
The photos released early this morning expose the cage-like conditions of a U.S. Customs and Border Protection temporary surge facility in Donna, Texas.

These photos expose the inhumane conditions of Biden’s overrun and under-resourced border detention facilities. Hundreds of migrants, including children, are separated into “pods” where any form of social distancing is virtually impossible. Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas) provided the photos to Axios, saying that each pod has a 260-person occupancy. As of Sunday, one pod held more than 400 unaccompanied minors.
On Sunday, Former President Donald Trump issued a statement on the border crisis:
We proudly handed the Biden Administration the most secure border in history. All they had to do was keep this smooth-running system on autopilot. Instead, in the span of a just few weeks, the Biden Administration has turned a national triumph into a national disaster. They are in way over their heads and taking on water fast.
Joe Biden spent his first 30 days in office signing executive orders that would completely dismantle the border policies of the Trump administration. One of Biden’s orders voided the Trump administration’s “Remain in Mexico” protocol. This policy required asylum seekers to wait in their home country until immigration courts can hear their asylum petition. Biden has reimplemented “catch-and-release” policies that allow for illegals, gang members, and human smugglers to disappear into the U.S. interior.
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas began attempts at damage control on Sunday, claiming that “the border is closed.” Mayorkas then continued to announce that unaccompanied children will not be turned away. Even NBC News’ Chuck Todd questioned this messaging, asking if this may encourage parents in Mexico and Central America to continue sending their unaccompanied children across dangerous terrains.
Additional photos were released by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas this morning:
These photos were taken within the last few days. There are eight pods with eight cells each in the facility. At any given moment there are an average of 3,000 people in custody here. The illegal immigrants are separated by age or physical size depending on room. pic.twitter.com/kFmZgTG2Iv

O’Keefe also claims that he has received reports of multiple sexual assaults, little or no access to healthcare services, and over 50 COVID-positive detainees.
Joe Biden was asked by a reporter on Sunday if he would visit the overcrowded migrant processing centers where press access is barred. “At some point I will, yes,” said Biden. “I know what’s going on in those facilities,” he continued.
