Las Vegas crowns biological male as winner of beauty pageant

Miss Silver State USA in Las Vegas, Nevada, has just crowed a biological male as the winner of the female beauty pageant, as reported on therightscoop.com.

Is it just me? This doesn’t seem right. I blame much of this explosion of gender dysphoria mumbo jumbo on the eight years America had a gay Muslim operating as our president. The nation seems to have fallen off its proper track. And if this is the case, I ask, Will we ever find our way back to normalcy?

Here’s more from Zero Hedge:

For the first time in its history, the title of Miss Silver State USA in Nevada has been awarded to a transgender person. Twenty-seven year old transgender Kataluna Enriquez won the crown this week, according to the Las Vegas Review Journal.

The 27 year old winner had been competing in transgender pageants since 2016, while she was working as a model. She started competing in cisgender pageants at the beginning of last year.

“I wanted to share my story and present that I was more than just a body. With pageantry, people think it is only about beauty. But it’s how you present yourself, what you advocate for, what you’ve done, and the goals you have,” Enriquez said.

His therapy started when he was ten years old:

“I’ve been in therapy since I was 10 and I love being able to understand myself and other people’s perspectives. I’m an advocate for mental health,” she said. She also described being bullied and abused because of her gender identity dating back to high school.

She says she will now focus on her mental health and designing new gowns for upcoming pageants. “Pageantry is so expensive and I didn’t always have money. I wanted to compete so now I design dresses for myself and other people.”

Enriquez will now go on to compete for Miss Nevada USA, which can eventually lead to Miss USA and Miss Universe.

Surprise, surprise, surprise. Enriquez is now on the path to become Miss USA/Universe if he keeps winning. And given the shape and attitude of our country now people like Enriquez stand a good chance of winning it all.

What say you Def-Con News readers? Seriously, I can’t help but think I’ll wake up one day and realize this has all been a crazy dream. Did you note the word ‘therapy’ above? Mental illness and treatment thereof are no longer the ball of wax I studied years ago. The world has been turned upside down. People speaking of a “celebration of being your true self,” while masquerading as something they are not, and then being awarded for their efforts, to me, is wrong in many ways.
