Nobody in the Republican Party likes Mitt Romney, but the democrats love his RINO ass and that says everything you need to know about him. The Utah Senator was awarded the JFK Profile in Courage Award because he twice voted to impeach Donald Trump. This is like the opposing team voting you MVP because you threw the game and not something a normal person would be proud of.

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) is receiving a profile in courage award from the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation for his “historic vote” to impeach then-President Trump during his first impeachment trial last year, the foundation announced on Friday.
Romney was the sole Republican senator to vote to impeach Trump last February on a charge of abusing his power over the former president’s effort to press Ukraine to investigate now-President Biden and his son Hunter Biden’s dealings in Ukraine.
Romney then joined six other GOP senators in February in voting to impeach Trump, after he left office, over his role in the Jan. 6 mob attack at the Capitol.
Lost in this hype is that Romney is 0-2 in removing Trump from office, which makes his betrayal all the more disgusting.
But hey, he got a shiny award from the democrats, so there’s that. According to the JFK Presidential Library, who hands this meaningless award out, Romney won it for “putting national interest over party.”
The 2021 Profile in Courage Award goes to Senator Mitt Romney for his vote to convict President Donald J. Trump in 2020, and his consistent and courageous defense of democracy. As the first Senator to have ever voted to convict a President of his own party, Senator Romney’s courageous stand was historic.
Historic? Yes. Courageous? Not even close. Doing what the establishment swamp dwellers wanted him to do is actually one of the least courageous acts of all time. Courage would have been to stand up and call the impeach efforts against Trump what they were: partisan attacks designed to undo the will of the Americana people. Instead, Romney betrayed his party and the country to undermine democracy and help the democrats seize power. That’s cowardice any way you slice it.
Romney doesn’t have any friends left so this is all he has and he’s thankful for it:

Romney was awarded this prize for 2021 but presumably it’s for his RINO work in 2020, since the year isn’t even a quarter over yet. That means in all of 2020, the JFK Library couldn’t find anyone who did something more courageous like develop a COVID-19 vaccine in record time to stop a deadly worldwide pandemic. Or maybe someone who brokered historic Middle East peace deals or rescued millions of Americans and businesses devastated by liberal lockdown orders.
No, the only courage democrats could find last year was a RINO dickhead who betrayed his party, country, and democracy, which is everything you need to know about them.
