Buttigieg Suggests Biden May Impose A Per Mile Tax To Fund Green New Deal

Bend over, he’ll drive…

Thanks to the establishment’s godsend of the coronavirus, Americans are being surveilled and tracked as never before in the nation’s history with even more intrusive spying and monitoring programs waiting in the wings for rollout.

By now it should be clear to all that the pathetic carcass that is Joe Biden is far from the “moderate” that he was advertised as but rather like many had warned, a Trojan Horse for the most extreme elements to ever gain complete control over the entire United States government.

The coming vaccine passports, monitoring devices, armies of political goons who will be deputized as “contact tracers” and possibly even nanochips will make it all the easier for what is obviously a tyrannical government that views tens of millions of law-abiding Americans as the enemy to monitor and control every aspect of the lives of citizens including, restrictions on the ability to travel.

With the lockdowns already having conditioned the sheep to live under what some describe as communism, Biden’s handlers and the forces behind the rapidly-deteriorating 78-year-old are ready to go for broke with the implementation of their Green New Deal authoritarian utopia and the surrender of what was once a free country to the global elite and their terrifying Great Reset.

Along with the carbon jackboot that’s about to be planted on the necks of Americans, there will be the confiscation of wealth from the populace to effectively fund their own enslavement by the administrators of the nanny state.

In teasing a plan that is literally highway robbery, Biden’s Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg (pronounced as Boot-edge-edge) let it slip that the Green New Deal programs that the regime is set to roll out could be backstopped by a new tax on miles driven.

Via CNBC, “Vehicle mileage tax could be on the table in infrastructure talks, Buttigieg says”:

A vehicle mileage tax could be on the table in talks about how to finance the White House’s expected multi-trillion-dollar infrastructure proposal, according to Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

Buttigieg, who spoke with CNBC’s Kayla Tausche on Friday, also contended that President Joe Biden’s forthcoming plans to rebuild the nation’s roads, bridges and waterways would lead to a net gain for the U.S. taxpayer and not a net outlay.

“When you think about infrastructure, it’s a classic example of the kind of investment that has a return on that investment,” he said. “That’s one of many reasons why we think this is so important. This is a jobs vision as much as it is an infrastructure vision, a climate vision and more.”

He also weighed in on several potential revenue-generating options to fund the project. He spoke fondly of a mileage levy, which would tax travelers based on the distance of the journey instead of on how much gasoline they consume.

“A so-called vehicle-miles-traveled tax or mileage tax, whatever you want to call it, could be a way to do it,” he said.

The former mayor of smallish South Bend, Indiana was able to parlay his homosexuality and folksy moniker as “Mayor Pete” into a cabinet position under Biden’s wraithlike carcass as well as a serious future in a party that other than raw power, values nothing more than skin color/sexual orientation as “qualifications” for jobs of importance.

This is why a guy who was incapable of fixing a fucking pothole when he was running the show in South Bend has become just the latest example of – no pun intended- the Peter principle.

Democrats have been able to ramrod their radical policies through with no opposition from feckless Republicans who talk a good game but never back it up and corrupt shitbags like Mitch McConnell who now has political cover after the Senate was lost when he refused to allow the $2,000 relief checks proposed by then-President Donald J. Trump to go out which cost the GOP dearly in the Georgia runoffs.

Chances are that the sneaky turtle and his Chinese friends are perfectly happy with the per-mile tax that will bring further economic ruination to millions of Americans.

Not only is such an idea excessive taxation but given the serious questions about the legitimacy of the 2020 election, it also ventures into the territory of taxation without representation.
