As the Biden administration tries to sell Joe’s 3 zillion dollar socialism plan masquerading as infrastructure, the PR department is providing spin for his cabinet members. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg says that highways are racist so we need raise taxes and become a socialist country to fix that. Apparently nobody in the Biden administration understands effective sales techniques.
Pete Buttigieg, a man with no experience in transportation, was made the Secretary of Transportation because he likes to play with trains and checks off the “gay” box on the diversity list. In an interview with black website The Grio, gay Alfred E. Newman demonstrated just how under qualified he is for the job:
President Joe Biden’s 8-year $2.25 trillion infrastructure plan seeks to redesign the nation’s transportation system with equity in mind.
In an exclusive interview with theGrio, Biden Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg noted how in some cities there are overpasses that were built low in Black communities as well as racially dividing roadways.
“Well if you’re in Washington, I’m told that the history of that highway is one that was built at the expense of communities of color in the D.C. area. There are stories and I think Philadelphia and Pittsburgh [and] in New York, Robert Moses famously saw through the construction of a lot of highways,” said Buttigieg.
For those of you who don’t understand what Buttigieg is talking about, allow me to elaborate: Robert Moses was a public official who built many freeways, bridges, and parks in the NYC area. He was accused of racism because he built many overpasses too low to accommodate buses. Since black people didn’t own many cars and relied on public transportation, Moses was branded a racist. I’m not joking, that’s what this is all about.
As Secretary Buttigieg notes, “this wasn’t just an act of neglect,” adding that it was a “conscious choice.”
“There is racism physically built into some of our highways, and that’s why the jobs plan has specifically committed to reconnect some of the communities that were divided by these dollars,” Buttigieg said.
Racism is a concept or attitude but according to Buttigieg, it’s a physical structure in the form of highways.
Buttigieg is better at virtue signaling than expressing his thoughts so let me explain this: He’s saying that because some highways cut through communities of color, out entire highway system is racist. But what about the highways that cut through affluent communities? I guarantee you that 99% of all highways in this country don’t go anywhere near the ghetto.
Since Buttigeig says highways are racist and wants to use Biden’s infrastructure funds (AKA taxpayer dollars) to fix it, what exactly is his plan? Is he going to demolish all of the freeways that go through ghettos and rebuild them in white neighborhoods? This would seem to make our highway system disjointed and, let’s face it, racist because then communities of color will be isolated. They would have to travel through miles of traffic snarled surface streets just to jump on the highway.
The only other alternative here is for Buttigieg to force white people out of their homes to live in the ghetto and give those residences to people of color. Biden’s infrastructure plan is socialism and a big part of that is redistribution of wealth. Still, I would imagine such a plan would encounter some push-back since most white people aren’t going to give up the homes they spent their lives paying for just so Buttigieg can solve an imaginary problem.
If highways are as racist as Pete Buttigieg says they are, doesn’t that mean he’s is supporting a system of white supremacy every time he travels on one? Now who is the racist?
