Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
There is some new insight into who may be really running the show in Washington D.C. and his name should be familiar to everybody.
On Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki confirmed that Joe Biden is in regular communication with former President Barack Obama while refusing to provide details on their conversations to reporters.
When asked by a reporter about whether Biden has consulted with his former boss on how to get his $2 trillion “infrastructure” bill passed in Congress, Psaki responded; “they speak regularly.”

Psaki added, “they of course, were president and vice president, but they are also friends and they share a bond of serving through eight years of the Obama Biden administration, but also a personal friendship and kinship and he speaks with him regularly, but we’re not going to read out those calls.” she said.
So much for transparency and yet another double standard when compared to former President Donald J. Trump who Democrats and the media constantly demanded to have the contents of his telephone conversations released to the public.
Two weeks ago, Psaki acknowledged that Obama has been closely monitoring the White House and that Biden consults with his boss on a “regular basis” on a “range of issues.”
Psaki also said that Obama is expected to have input throughout the duration of Biden’s presidency – however long that may be – and presumably, once president-in-waiting Kamala Harris takes over which is a virtual certainty at some point.

When asked by a reporter on whether the 44th president had visited the White House for a meeting with Biden, Psaki answered; “They consult and talk about a range of issues and I would expect that continues through the course of President Biden’s presidency,” she said. “That can be done over the phone it turns out, and I think if President Obama had been here, you would all know.”
While declining to provide details on how often that the two have spoken, Psaki said that they are in “regular touch” and their conversations are “about a range of issues,” according to Fox News.
With each public appearance like the trainwreck of a press conference, it is becoming increasingly obvious rapidly-fading Biden isn’t the one who is really calling the shots with the media providing cover for a presidency that has been unlike any ever before seen in American history.
And Biden still hasn’t delivered the State Of The Union address, a fact that has been completely ignored by the media despite its historic significance.
The idea that Obama could be running a shadow presidency from his compound in the Kalorama neighborhood a short distance from the White House is one that can’t be entirely discounted given Biden’s deteriorating state as well as the radical policies that have been implemented by a man who has long been considered a moderate.
Such an arrangement – if it does exist – would be unprecedented but then again, everything about this new regime including the militarization of the nation’s capital has been a venture into uncharted territory.
