It’s not everyone who can use “Asian” 3 times in one headline but I have a particular set of skills. Despite the fact that the wave of anti-Asian hate in this country has primarily been black people sucker-punching elderly Asian women, an Asian man decided to get his revenge by raping a white woman. The only problem with this otherwise flawless plan was that the victim he picked was also Asian. Ironically, this crime will go down as an anti-Asian hate crime.

Irvine, California, police arrested an Asian man on Monday after he attempted to sexually assault a woman of Asian descent “because he thought she was White,” authorities said.
Michael Sangbong Rhee, 37, pointed a handgun at the female victim, who was sitting in the driver’s seat of her car with the door open at 1:30 p.m. near her apartment in the Harvard-Coronado area of Irvine, according to a press release.
Rhee told the victim that if she wanted to live, she had to move to the backseat of her car. Rhee then opened the rear passenger door and “committed a sexual battery against” the victim before she yelled to a maintenance worker nearby.
Rhee then fled the scene and got into his car; police were able to identify his license plate number via surveillance cameras that captured Rhee’s vehicle leaving the apartment complex.
Rhee was arrested at his home. As police executed a search warrant, they found a BB gun that matched the victim’s description of her attacker’s weapon.
In a press release, Irvine Police had this to add:
Based on the totality of the investigation and statements made by Rhee, detectives believe he targeted the victim because he thought she was white. Detectives also believe the assault was in retaliation to hate crimes committed against the Asian community.
Also in the press release they described the victim as “a woman of Asian descent.” D’oh!
Rhee is being held on a $1 million dollar bail for kidnapping and intent to commit sexual assault. Irvine PD says they will be adding hate crime charges.
This guy is clearly an idiot, both for his revenge plan and its execution, but let’s face it, something like this was inevitable. After months of the liberal media lying that white supremacists were unleashing a wave of hate against Asians, sooner or later an Asian was going to go after white people.
And just so we are clear on the absolute stupid and irresponsible narrative the liberal media has been pushing, here’s a rundown of it:
The liberal media claims that Trump calling COVID-19 “the Chinese virus” made white supremacists attack Asians, but those white supremacists are actually black people. The liberal media then ignored the race of the attackers to keep their lie alive, which culminated in an Asian man raping an Asian he thought was white to get revenge on those black white supremacist Trump supporters.
If that’s confusing, that’s because it’s the way the liberal media wants things.
This same liberal media always cried when Trump called them “fake news” that he was endangering their lives. Here they have literally caused a woman to get sexually assaulted with their rhetoric. The difference being that the liberal media is fake news while there is no white supremacist wave of hate against Asians, which is another piece of evidence of their fake news.
