Digging Up Dirt On Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez

Is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, AOC, an actress playing a congresswoman to push the agenda of the Justice Democrats?

First, the Justice Democrats:

Mission–We need a Democratic Party that fights for its voters, not big corporate donors. Our goal is to build a mission-driven caucus in Congress by electing more leaders like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jamaal Bowman, who will represent our communities in Congress and fight for bold, progressive solutions to our current crises.

Purpose–Justice Democrats is recruiting and supporting progressive Democrats all over the country, starting with Congress. We’re working to transform the Democratic Party while building independent power. We do this by running primary challengers against out-of-touch Democratic incumbents and organizing to hold the party accountable to our issues.

Secondly, in 2016 a call was put out and AOC was selected from 10,000 nominations. This from snopes.com.

AOC did, however, audition for the role of congress woman as a response to an open casting call by Justice Democrats.

My assertion is that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is presenting ideas to congress and to the public as [i]f they are her own, but that they are not her own. They are the idea[s] of the Justice Democrats and that this group, in particular Saikat Chakrabarti, are drafting everything for her. When I say “everything” I mean her official proposals to congress, her answers to questions by the media, her tweets and her unofficial propositions to the public.

I also believe that she is directed on how to vote, but this is pure speculation.

So, the question: Is U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez an actress playing a Congresswoman? You be the judge.

Next, let’s review AOC’s political win:

Joseph Crowley was the U.S. Representative from New York’s 14th congressional district from 1999 to 2019. He was overconfident in his primary race against AOC and opted against using negative ammunition because he believed he had the democrat primary locked up and didn’t want to look weak in a race he was expected to walk away with.

Crowley, a longtime political power broker from Queens, had plenty of fodder he could’ve used against AOC, but his top New York campaign operatives decided to take the punches and not hit back,” Politico reporters Jake Sherman and Anna Palmer write in their new book, The Hill to Die On.”

One piece of dirt Crowley decided against using was questionable financing practices of Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign — which a source said Crowley aides knew about before they became public this year .

The conservative National Legal and Policy Center filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission charging that Ocasio-Cortez’s team used two affiliated political action committees to funnel hundreds of thousands of dollars into a limited-liability company to evade campaign finance laws. AOC has denied any wrongdoing.

AOC, 29, won the democrat primary and then went on to defeat Republican Anthony Pappas in November’s general election to become the youngest woman ever to serve in Congress.

Now, lets review some of AOC’s “accomplishments” in Congress.

As a freshman congresswoman she was on “The Five” to compare U.S. detention centers on the southern border to concentration camps reminiscent of Nazi Germany. This from FOX on youtube.com.

AOC wanted to abolish ICE. She said global warming is pushing the migrants north. And she accused President Trump of installing concentration camps at the border.

“It is such a shameful history that we largely ignore it,” she added. “These camps occur throughout history. Many refuse to learn from that shame, but here we are today. We have an obligation to end them.”

Moving on, AOC continued to come up with new ways to bankrupt America, but meanwhile her mother moved out of New York because the taxes were too high.

When AOC’s father Sergio died, things got very tough financially for the family, and at one point Blanca Ocasio-Cortez was unable to pay the mortgage on the family home for an entire year.  But ultimately she was able to come to an agreement with the bank, and she ended up moving to Florida where taxes and the cost of living are much lower.

And of course no state income tax in Florida is a plus, while New York has the highest tax burden in the entire country by a wide margin.

But AOC is far more ambitious than your typical tax and spend liberal.  She wants to take government spending to crazy new levels that nobody has ever seen before.

For example, one study determined that AOC’s “Green New Deal” would cost U.S. taxpayers approximately 93 trillion dollars.  The following comes from Fox News.

The sweeping “Green New Deal” proposed by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., could cost as much as $93 trillion, or approximately $600,000 per household, according to a new study co-authored by the former director of the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office.

Further, the Green New Deal’s botched rollout included the release of an official document by AOC’s office that promised economic security even for those “unwilling to work,” and called for the elimination of “farting cows” and air travel.

Concerning the Derek Chauvin verdict, AOC stated:

Derek Chauvin’s conviction on multiple counts of murder and manslaughter was not justice.

“That a family had to lose a son, brother and father; that a teenage girl had to film and post a murder, that milions across the country had to organize and march just for George Floyd to be seen and valued is not justice,” AOC tweeted.

“And this verdict is not a substitute for policy change,” she added.

Last but certainly not least, the results of a recent study declare AOC one of the least effective members of Congress. This from nypost.com.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY)

AOC is the queen of Twitter — but less successful at lawmaking.

She introduced a total of 21 bills which the center defined as “substantive” — but that is where the story ends. Her legislation received no action in committees, no floor votes, and none ever became law, according to the center, which takes its data from Congress.gov.

When looking at the legislative effectiveness of all congressional Democrats, AOC was ranked 230th out of 240 Democrats. Among the 19 Dem lawmakers from New York state, she ranked dead last.

“Tweeting is easy, governing is hard. You need to have friends. You need to understand the committee process, you need to be willing to make sacrifices,” said one colleague. “Her first day in Congress … she decided to protest outside of Nancy Pelosi’s office.

Across the aisle, Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-Brooklyn/Staten Island), told The Post, “Her ludicrous policy ideas would destroy our country — Americans should be thankful she’s not effective.” As a current freshman Malliotakis does not appear on the list.
