Jamaal Bowman has been the U.S. representative of New York’s 16th congressional district since January 3rd of this year. He defeated Eliot Engel, who had been in Congress for 32 years, in the democrat primary context, then went on to win the general election. This from americanthinker.com.
Of note, Bowman is the first male member of “The Squad,” a growing cancerous entity in the U.S. Congress. He has the support, of course, of the other members of “The Squad” as well as such democrat heavy weights as Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.
He is the sixth member of Congress supported by the progressive PAC Justice Democrats—a sign that the once-fringe wing of the party has found its sea legs in this turbulent time.
The Squad is here to stay, and it’s growing,” Waleed Shahid, communications director of the group, said in a statement.
The Justice Democrats recruited Bowman to run for the United States House of Representatives in New York’s 16th congressional district.
Bowman, like the other Justice Democrats, is anti-establishment and supports such hair-brained endeavors as the “Defund The Police” movement, “Medicare for All,” and the “Green New Deal.”
“We need to defund the police because we need to demilitarize our police,” Bowman recently told Democracy Now.
“We need to stop sending federal military equipment to local police departments. And we need to focus on accountability and transparency.”
“We need to end qualified immunity at the federal level, where police can violate a person’s civil rights with impunity, which we’ve seen happening time and time again.”
Bowman stated he is pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian, but now that he has been elected his true colors have begun to shine through.
His readiness to dissemble for the purpose of deceiving those American Jews whose “progressivism” leaves them vulnerable to anti-Israel propaganda — like the Jews of J Street.
Bowman embraced “The Jewish Vote,” a far-left group aiming to “harness the power of the progressive Jewish resistance,” at a January rally.
Though the group has claimed neutrality toward the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement, its leadership regularly voices support for BDS, defends progressives who make anti-Semitic remarks, and likens Israel to Nazi Germany.
He added that the divestments from police departments should be spent on community health and development.
Bowman has signed up as sponsor of H.R. 2407, an anti-Israel measure which was introduced by Rep. Betty McCollum (DFL-MN).
H.R. 2407 is an anti-Israel measure, intended, apparently, at undoing the progress toward Middle East peace of the Abraham Accords midwifed by the Trump administration?
H.R. 2407 takes for granted Israel’s “abuse” of Palestinian children living under its military detention and calls for denying aid to the Jewish State.
The Bill includes language that could have been taken from the most one-sided and biased anti-Israel resolutions to be adopted by the U.N. General Assembly of years past.
It is said that McCollum’s anti-Semitic measure — and let’s call H.R. 2407 for the anti-Jewish mindset it reflects — has little chance of passing. No? Is it not possible that the Democrat Party is moving toward the mindset of that Pharaoh of Exodus who knew not Joseph, and proceeded to decree the enslavement of the Israelites in Egypt — including the drowning of male babies?
A petition has been drafted urging the congressman to withdraw his sponsorship of H.R. 2407, a petition drafted by local Bronx and Westchester rabbis, including Avi Weiss, the rabbi emeritus of Hebrew Institution of Riverdale.
It is my sense that Rep. Bowman is as likely to reverse himself on H.R. 2407 as he is on the rest of “The Squad’s” radical agenda.
Perhaps the petition drafted by the rabbis implicitly recognizes the implacability of the new foe of Israel representing New York’s 16th Congressional District.
The petition concludes with these words: “We will not remain silent.” This vow to continue to speak out presupposes the need to continue to oppose Bowman on Israel.
Bowman and the other anti-Semitic leftists in Congress must, indeed, have this impressed on them:

What say you Def-Con News readers? Apparently, one of the planks in the Justice Democrats’ platform is the diminishment of the state of Israel, which likely would involve war in the Middle East. After all, is it likely diminishment of Israel will occur without a military response? And what are the odds war in the Middle East will remain in the Middle East? Exactly! A fair assumption is the Justice Democrats have bad intentions for America and Americans. And, if so, they must be stopped.
