Fauci Moves The Goalposts AGAIN; Not Back To “Normal” Until Next Mother’s Day

No matter what politicians might say, there is never going to be a return to normalcy now that Democrats have become accustomed to the sweeping powers that they have seized thanks to the coronavirus.

It has already been established that even if Americans are vaccinated that they will not be able to discard the humiliating face masks that have become a powerful political symbol of the one-party government.

Making that abundantly clear was Dr. Anthony S. Fauci who once again showed up on Sunday morning TV to dash any hopes that the masks will be going away anytime soon and possibly never.

The head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases has a vested interest in prolonging the pain indefinitely or risk losing the media adoration that has been showered on him for the last year when he became an international celebrity and the public face of COVID.

The great one chewed the fat with longtime Clinton crime family mouthpiece George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s This Week where he once again moved the goalposts, saying that there won’t be any return to normal until NEXT Mother’s Day, extending his time in the limelight for another year.

“I hope that next Mother’s Day, we’re going to see a dramatic difference than what we’re seeing right now. I believe that we will be about as close to back to normal as we can,” said Fauci.

The elfin career bureaucrat also showed up on NBC’s Meet The Press where he suggested to host Chuck Todd that the masks will be an enduring feature of American life if he has anything to do with it.

Todd set the table for Fauci; “Let me start with what the headline yesterday from the CDC about the virus spreading through aerosol form,” he said, “and I’ll be honest with you Dr. Fauci, I had to check the date of the article to make sure it wasn’t from a year earlier,  this felt like a known thing, so now that there is a formal acknowledgment now of aerosol transmission what does this mean for workplaces? What does this mean for schools, homes, things like this if we’re going to have to live with this virus for another year or so?”

Fauci responded; “I mean, as you mentioned Chuck correctly, this is something we’ve known for some time now, so you when you have aerosol and then the distance between people, becomes a little bit more problematic because generally when you say you have a certain distance,  that the droplets will fall and not reach a person so right now this is going have an emphasis on proper ventilation because if there is aerosolization you’re gonna want to have good ventilation that could hold true for schools that could hold true for workplaces.” He said.

Fauci continued; “The other thing, it also brings out the possibility you’re gonna have to make sure that indoors where you have unvaccinated people, that people wear a mask, but that is already a CDC recommendation anyway but when you have the ability of a particular virus to go further than just a few feet, clearly one of the most important things is proper ventilation, and number two, mask-wearing.” He said.

For good measure, Fauci also floated the idea of seasonal masking; “I think people have gotten used to the fact that wearing masks, clearly if you look at the data, diminishes respiratory diseases. You know we’ve had practically a non-existent flu season this year, merely because people were doing the kind of public health things that were directed predominantly against COVID-19.” Said Fauci.

He added; “The Australians during their winter, same thing they had almost no flu largely due to the things including mask-wearing. So it is conceivable that as we go on a year or two or more from now, that during certain seasonal periods when you have respiratory-borne viruses like the flu, people might actually elect to wear masks to diminish the likelihood that you’ll be spreading these respiratory-borne diseases.”

His fearmongering based on another one of the constantly shifting positions of the thoroughly politicized CDC ironically complicates his boss Joe Biden’s efforts to get 70 percent of the U.S. population vaccinated by July 4th.

Biden has received criticism that the refusal to relax masking orders for those who receive the vaccine has served to discourage people from lining up and rolling up their sleeves because there is no incentive to do so if they can’t go back to their normal lives.

One thing is for certain and that is Fauci is so addicted to the attention and special treatment that he receives that he isn’t going to give up his seat on the gravy train willingly and Biden isn’t about to reign him in regardless of how much he is damaging the country.
