WATCH: Chris Rock Slams Cancel Culture for Creating a Nation Where Everyone is Scared and ‘Unfunny’

Chris Rock is once again taking on cancel culture for it creating a nation where “everybody’s scared” and “unfunny.” This from thegatewaypundit.com.

The iconic comedian has long spoke out against the sterilization of comedy to protect people’s delicate feelings.

Rock’s latest rant against the woke scolds took place during an interview on The Breakfast Club where he appeared to promote his new movie “Spiral.”

“What are your thoughts on the cancel culture? Like, if you say something wrong people will try to cancel you immediately. You even see Ellen dealing with it with her workplace,” DJ Envy asked.

“We get the message: ‘They’re not laughing.’ Our feelings hurt,” he said. “We should have the right to fail because. Failure is a part of art. You know what I mean? It’s the ultimate cancel. But now you’ve got a place where people are scared to talk … especially in America. You’re scared to talk.”

Rock noted that everyone is scared and it is leading to the entertainment industry being “unfunny.”

“I see a lot of unfunny,” he said Monday. “I see unfunny TV shows. I see unfunny award shows. I see unfunny movies because no one’s — everybody’s scared to, like, you know, make a move.”

I’m passing along this article and video of the interview with Chris Rick not because I’m a fan of Chris Rock or of The Breakfast Club, which I most certainly am not, but to share one more example of the disastrous results of democrat attempts to ‘do good’.

The democrat mentality that ‘everything deserves to be fixed’ is wrong-headed from the start. And damn full-on insane in the long term. Simply because democrats ALWAYS endeavor to personally profit from an initiative, then they pass it off to the public as a “product” for the people without thinking the initiative through and asking the questions, What could possibly go wrong? and What side effects will this new initiative produce?

Then after the initiative has been rolled out and the side effects have become painfully apparent, the democrat sponsors, who have pocketed their kickback, respond invariably by saying, ‘Hey, my intentions were good.’ But by then, the people are stuck with this ‘mistake’ until the next Republican administration is in control to rectify the problem. President Trump you are missed, sir. Hurry back.
