Biden’s Foreign Policy Reset: The End of America First

As Joe Biden attends the Group of Seven (G-7) summit in England this weekend, he seeks to put an end to the America First agenda that characterized the Trump administration’s approach to foreign policy.

The signal from Biden is that the United States will be much more open to international partnerships and initiatives than it was under his predecessor.

“Biden’s taking a much less isolationist approach [that] will spur that good will and he needs to keep doing that,” said John Hudak, who serves as a senior fellow at the left-wing Brookings Institution, before the summit got underway.

“This summit is the first big step in showing the world that America is back to the position it once held,” Hudak added.

The Biden way of conducting foreign affairs differs from President Trump’s, which was often a relatively “tough” one which included demands that allies pay their fair share for regional defense spending for which America provides the bulk of capital and services.

By contrast, Biden’s first formal action on his G-7 trip was to announce an update to the Atlatic Charter with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. The charter, a World War II-era document, lays out shared commitments from U.S. and U.K.

“Our revitalized Atlantic Charter, building on the commitments and aspirations set out eighty years ago, affirms our ongoing commitment to sustaining our enduring values and defending them against new and old challenges,” states the new joint document. “We commit to working closely with all partners who share our democratic values and to encountering the efforts of those who seek to undermine our alliances and institutions.”

Biden’s take on world affairs mirrors that of his former boss, Barack Obama, a multilateralist who spearheaded the Iran Nuclear Deal and who entered America into the Paris global climate-change agreement. President Trump pulled the United States out of the climate agreement, but Biden has now reversed the exit — a turn of events that highlights the volatility of American foreign policy in an age of such drastic ideological differences between the Trump wing of the Republican Party and the Democratic Party.

Biden is trying to assure foreign leaders that the aggressive America First-ism of the Trump era is no more. Rather, “America is back.”

Highlighting the new focus on multilateralism, the White House on Friday announced that German Chancellor Angela Merkel will visit in July, which the Biden administration hopes will “affirm the deep bilateral ties between the United States and Germany.”

Merkel, who some consider the de facto leader of the European Union and the face of globalism, had a rocky relationship with Trump, who once threw her candy and said, “Don’t say I never give you anything.”MORE.

Biden’s Climate Change Stance Exposes A Delusional Administration

In an address this week to U.S. military forces at the Royal Air Force base in Mildenhall, England, President Joe Biden tried to convince troops climate change is “the greatest threat facing America.”

“You know, when I went over in the Tank in the Pentagon, when I first was elected Vice President, with President Obama, the military sat us down to let us know what the greatest threats facing America were — the greatest physical threats,” Biden said. “And this is not a joke: You know what the Joint Chiefs told us the greatest threat facing America was? Global warming. Because there’ll be significant population movements, fights over land, millions of people leaving places because they’re literally sinking below the sea in Indonesia; because of the fights over what is arable land anymore.”

While some might be shocked at such a claim — one that ignores a whole host of legitimate foreign and domestic threats facing America today — Biden’s rhetoric aligns with his prior remarks, as well as the sentiments from his administration.

In October 2020, in an interview with Dan Pfeiffer, a former senior advisor in the Obama administration, Biden said climate change is the “number one issue facing humanity.” Forget Russia, Communist China, the U.S.-Mexico border crisis, the Black Lives Matter organization, Antifa, Islamic terrorism, or the nation’s suicide and mental health crisis. There is no shortage of items more threatening than an issue both highly politicized and steeped in ambiguous science.

Biden has been more focused on appeasing the far-left wing of the party that thinks we will drop dead if we don’t start devouring insects or buying exorbitant electric cars. To the administration, killing jobs over climate orders, joining a costly international agreement, offering climate change as infrastructure, touting trillion-dollar federal plans, and appointing John Kerry as a climate envoy with no scientific experience are all deemed as more pertinent than any legitimate threats.

Even the U.S. Army has joined the energy bandwagon, releasing a memo titled “U.S. Army: Addressing Climate Change Threats” that states climate change is a “serious threat to U.S. National security interests and defense objectives” and “The Army has a lot to be proud of, yet there is a lot of work to continue to operate efficiently across extreme weather and climate conditions.”

Still, data indicates climate change is not the threat that members of the Democratic Party claim it is. As energy expert Marc Morano pointed out to the Federalist in March, “The alleged ‘climate emergency’ is merely a premise for achieving the political goals that the left has sought for decades.” The aim? Expanding the role of government until it has been involuntarily injected into our homes. And as long as the left operates in a vacuum of idealism and denial, it will continue to hurt the American people. MORE.

The Real Reasons Why California Leftists Are Terrified Of The AR-15

Look at it this way – States like California are a petri dish, a testing ground for the future that leftists want for the entire country. There is an old saying that “As goes California, so goes the US”, and this is because California is often where most experimental legislation is pushed; legislation that violates the boundaries of what the constitution allows. Sometimes it’s New York or New Jersey or some other blue state, but most of the time CA is where unconstitutional precedents are set. Its massive population and large number of electoral votes make it a perfect target for conditioning the wider public to further restrictions on their freedoms.

This explains some of the fear the media is showing regarding the latest federal court decision on military grade weapons like the AR. Political elites see California as their own little kingdom with their own special laws, and they plan to eventually spread those laws across America using California as the model. But, if such laws are overturned as unconstitutional, then the precedent actually works in reverse. Now, the leftists are concerned that an overturned gun ban in CA means more blue states will follow and their entire gun grabbing scheme will go out the window.

The leftist mind thinks in terms of unchecked and unhinged “democracy”. Meaning, they believe that the majority is paramount; the majority is law. If a majority in a society wants to take away your freedoms, then they have the right to because they have the mob on their side. 51% rules over the lives of the other 49%. But this is not how things work in a Constitutional Republic.

Under the Bill of Rights your freedoms are codified and sacrosanct. They are inherent and gifted by God (or whatever you happen to believe in); government has no domain over these rights. The right to firearms and self defense is one of these inherent qualities. It does not matter what the State of California thinks, or even what the “majority” of people in California think. If an American in California wants to own an AR-15, then he/she has the right to own an AR-15.

We also cannot ignore the fact that leftists have an insatiable appetite for collectivism, usually in the name of the “greater good”. Collectivism is basically totalitarianism disguised as humanitarianism. They know what’s best for you, and they are going to make sure you follow THEIR plan for your life.

The AR-15 is indeed a military grade weapon, and maybe this is what frightens leftists the most. Not because they are personally more likely to be shot by one (we’ve already proven that notion false), but because leftists desire control over all else, and with military grade weapons in the hands of the public control becomes much more difficult. ALL totalitarian governments seek to first disarm the people they intend to enslave or destroy. This is a fact.

When a group of people in power are working hard to remove defensive or even offensive weapons from your hands, it’s best to assume that their intentions are malevolent. They are not trying to help you, they are trying to help themselves.

They will deny this motive to the grave, but look at how the political left has been acting lately: They are the only people that have supported mass censorship of opposing viewpoints. They are the only people that are supported by international conglomerates and Big Tech companies. They are the only people that supported the pandemic lockdowns, which were completely useless in stopping the spread of covid, but they were very useful in killing hundreds of thousands of small businesses across the US. They are also the only people in favor of vaccine passports which would destroy the very fabric of our society and erase what is left of our freedoms.

‘1 Month Isn’t Enough’: Canada Boasts ‘Pride Season’ For ‘LGBTQ2’ Until September

Canada has announced the launch of its “Pride Season,” which will run from June to September to celebrate “LGBTQ2+” people.

The month of June, which has been established as “Pride Month,” marks the beginning of Canada’s Pride Season, and will feature a series of events and parades for the “LGBTQ2+” community. Major Canadian cities such as Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and Calgary are expected to host the events, according to Mister B&B, an LGBTQ social networking website.

“Free to be me,” a government organization that purportedly combats issues surrounding the “LGBTQ2+” community, announced that one month is not enough to celebrate pride in a June 2 tweet.

The Canadian government plans to mark the beginning of “Pride Season” with an annual flag-raising event hosted by the Department of Canadian Heritage in mid-June, the Canadian Department of National Defense announced. The department invited its citizens to submit a video wishing the nation a “Happy Pride Season.”

“Lets show our pride colours and celebrate LGBTQ2+ diversity, inclusion, and pride in the federal public service across the country,” the department stated. MORE.
