Did you hear about the black man who targeted and shot white men over the weekend? No? That probably because it was a black man who targeted and shot white men. Had it been a racially-motivated shooting spree with a white gun behind the trigger, the liberal media would be all over it, but this doesn’t fit their narrative that white supremacy is the biggest threat to our nation.
On Friday outside a Marriott hotel in Phenix City, Alabama, 39-year-old Justin Tyran Roberts, who is black, shot an unidentified man. The victim is described as a white man with short hair and was shot as he exited a car.
From there, Roberts fled on foot to Columbus, Georgia. About an hour later in the downtown area, which is inexplicably referred to as “Uptown,” Roberts shot 3 people, 2 white men and a black woman. It’s unclear if the black woman was with the white men or if she was simply in the the wrong place at the wrong time.
The next day, also in Columbus, Roberts shot a white man in the back as he was getting into a car. Police say Roberts fired 6 shots, but only hit the victim once.
Luckily, Roberts is a terrible shot and all 5 victims survived the shootings.
It’s also lucky for Roberts that he’s black because the fake news industry will not be whipping up any outrage over his shooting spree. The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer added this seemingly important detail:
The 39-year-old man charged in a weekend shooting spree told Columbus police his assaults were racially motivated, targeting white men he felt had taken from him all his life, a detective testified Monday.
Under questioning by public defender Robin King, Lockhart elaborated on what Roberts, who is Black, told him during an interview at police headquarters.
“Basically, he explained throughout his life, specifically white males had taken from him, and also what he described as ‘military-looking white males’ had taken from him,” the investigator said.
Roberts also claimed that such men were “shooting at him in a wooded area with a slingshot,” and the wounds had infected his skin, Lockhart testified. Police saw no injuries to substantiate that, he said.
In regards to his final victim, who he shot in the back, Roberts reportedly said, “I had to have him.”
Police found Roberts 2 hours after the last shooting and arrested him. He was in possession of a Taurus 9mm handgun that he stole days earlier.
Now here’s the kicker: Roberts is only being charged with with aggravated assault, using a gun to commit a crime, and being a convicted felon with a firearm. No attempted murder and no hate crime. And, in reality, he’s only getting charged for one of the shootings.
The liberal media likes to accuse Republicans of inciting violence with their rhetoric, despite a complete lack of violence or rhetoric. Here is a black man who has listened to Joe Biden, the democrats, and the liberal media say that white people are a deadly threat, who went out and shot white people. Not only won’t the liberal media accuse themselves of inciting violence, they won’t cover the story at all because it blows up their bullshit narrative in so many ways.
