California Governor Gavin Newsom Rolls Out The Welcome Mat For America’s Homeless

Whether or not California Governor Gavin Newsom survives the upcoming recall remains to be seen but his disastrous policies have already left a mark on a state that has traditionally been a barometer for the rest of the United States politically.

Newsom has been barnstorming the state on what he is calling the “Comeback California” tour as he frantically works to shore up support ahead of the September 14th special recall election that will give beleaguered voters who have been crushed by his dictatorial COVID restrictions that have ruined lives and decimated businesses while doing little to mitigate the spread of the virus.

During a stop in Sonoma County after signing off on a massive $12 billion bill to feed and shelter the homeless, Newsom rolled out the welcome mat for the dregs of society, the largest such expenditure in California history.

“It’s about getting people off the streets, out of incidents of crisis, and meeting people where they are and to the extent that people want to come here for new beginnings and all income levels, that’s part of the California dream,” said Newsom. “We have a responsibility to accommodate and enliven and inspire, and California’s dream is still alive and well.”

The governor added: “I’m proud of people from around the world looking at California again for opportunity, and that, again, that should not just be for certain people. All people should aspire to that California dream regardless of their income level and regarding their lot in life.”

Newsom’s invitation for the homeless to relocated to the Golden State didn’t sit well with many, including Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva who blasted the governor; “Based on our governor’s proclamation the other day that ‘the California dream is alive and well,’ and he’s inviting everyone to California to share in the California dream, I don’t know if he’s pining for the other 26 states to come join us here,” he said. “But since L.A. County has half of the state’s homeless population, we’re not in the position to have all of these people show up.”

Sheriff Villanueva made his remarks during a live Instagram broadcast last week. The top lawman in America’s most populous county who has been a frequent critic of Newsom added; “However, governor, if you wish to have them in your vineyards, in your property, in your mansion, by all means, you have the freedom to invite them there,” he continued. “But here in L.A. County, we’re pretty much full, and we’ve got our hands full with the problem right now. Okay?”

Villanueva also included Newsom along with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and other Democrats on a list that he has dubbed “the architects of failure.”

While the announcement that Californians will be further overrun by the wretched hordes that the state already has an abundance of including illegal aliens, drifters, drug addicts, drunks, bums, the mentally ill, the unemployable, and the just plain lazy was bad news to those who are trapped in communist-controlled territory, leaders in other states rejoiced as the idea that such a mass migration to the west coast would bring relief to their own overburdened social service systems.
