What’s it like to live where the democrats rule? What’s it like to be in a “Defund the Police” zone? Former Senator Barbara Boxer found out when she was attacked and robbed in Oakland, California on Sunday. As a proud member of the democratic party however, Babs can’t connect her assault to the liberal policies that enabled it.
Boxer announced her traumatic experience on Twitter:
Earlier today former Senator Barbara Boxer was assaulted in the Jack London Square neighborhood of Oakland. The assailant pushed her in the back, stole her cell phone and jumped in a waiting car. She is thankful that she was not seriously injured.”

Brian Anderson thinks it’s cool that Boxer tweets about herself in the 3rd person. Brian does kind of wonder why she had an end quote but no beginning quote.

Former California Senator Barbara Boxer was assaulted and robbed near Oakland’s Jack London Square Monday.
The strong-armed robbery happened near her home around 1:15 p.m. Monday afternoon. She was out walking and talking on her new iPhone that she bought two days ago. She said she did not see a weapon on the teenage boy.
The 80-year-old Boxer later told KPIX 5 she was shaken up, but otherwise unhurt. Boxer said she walked a couple of blocks to a Verizon store after the robbery to call police.
“I’m really saddened by this experience because here is a grandma alone, on her phone, and two young people attacked. I’m not hurt physically at all. I’m just shook up,” said Boxer.
She described the assailants as “kids” but declined to offer any information on their race. I’m going to make a bold prediction that they were not white.
“Well, he pushed me very hard. It’s hard for me to describe what happened because it was so fast, but, when I started to move away from him, he came behind me, pushed me hard, and then before I could fall it was like he grabbed my phone in front, so it’s just hard to put all together,” Boxer said.
She’s 80-years-old. The scumbag could have knocked her on her ass with a Nerf dart gun.
“I said, ‘Why would you do this to a grandma?’ I was yelling at the kid as he was running with my phone. I said ‘I want to call my grandkids, why are you doing this?’ He could care less. He got in the car. But I hope he has some guilt,” said Boxer.
Why would the robber have any guilt. He just scored an iPhone reportedly valued at over $1,000 and since he stole it in Oakland, California there is literally nobody looking for him to bring him to justice.
In fact:
The police department and Crime Stoppers of Oakland were offering up to $ 2,000 dollars for information leading to an arrest in the case.
That’s a fancy way of saying there are not detectives assigned to this case. With everything going on in Oakland, there’s no way they are putting any resources into a robbery like this.
Oakland has one of the highest crime rates in the country and last month the city council voted to defund the police by $18 million.
Proving that Boxer has no idea how crime works, she offered this as solution to what happened to her:
“There’s not one silver bullet, okay? It’s a host of things we have to do, to give our kids hope in the future, to give them opportunity, the education, the jobs, all of those things, the after-school (programs),” said Boxer.
Does she mean all of that liberal shit they’ve been doing for decades instead of enforcing the law? Yeah, I’m sure that’s totally going to fix the problem created by democrats.
