There’s a million reasons for Republicans to reject Joe Biden’s ATF chief nominee, David Chipman but mostly because he’s an anti-gun activist. Now there’s at least one reason for democrats to reject him: Chipman is a racist. Of course since Chipman is a leftist pick from a democrat (illegitimate) president, democrats won’t reject him. Their rules only apply to others.
If Donald Trump had nominated someone to his cabinet with an allegation of racism hanging over his or her head, the liberal media would flip the f*ck out and so would democrats. It wouldn’t matter how little evidence to support that claim of racism there was, it would be instantly disqualifying.
On the other hand, there is a quite credible allegation of racism against David “The Chipmunk” Chipman, but nobody in the liberal media will touch it. Thankfully Steven Gutowski of The Reload is on the case:
Multiple ATF sources back up the existence of a complaint alleging President Biden’s nominee to lead ATF, David Chipman, made racist comments during his previous stint at the agency.
The agents, who have decades of experience at the agency, told The Reload they heard the accusation that Chipman denigrated black ATF agents up for promotion. The officials said they heard about Chipman’s alleged comments before they were referenced in a recent lawsuit seeking the release of the complaint.
“He made some comments that he was surprised by the number of African Americans who have made it onto a specific promotional list. So, his insinuation was that they had to have cheated. Which is kind of despicable,” said an ATF agent.
Back when Chipman was an ATF agent, he had 2 Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) complaints filed against him.
One of those complaints relates to comments Chipman made implying black agents could not have performed as well as they did on a promotions assessment.
That’s why Chipman was reassigned from the Detroit office:
“He left Detroit because of that. He did not leave Detroit on the best of terms. His reputation was that he was not nice to people,” said the ATF Agent.
Being a dick is one thing, but this is straight-up racism. Chipman apparently didn’t think black agents were intelligent or competent enough to deserve promotions. Again, try to imagine if this was a Trump nominee to see how racist it is.
And to see the glaring liberal double-standard, ask yourself how much coverage of this has been on the fake news or how much outrage democrats have expressed.
Republican Senator Leader Mitch McConnell has demanded that Joe Biden withdraw Chipman’s nomination and still there is no coverage by the liberal media. Once again, The Reload comes to the rescue:
Senate Republicans pushed back on ATF nominee David Chipman after agents raised questions about him in a report by The Reload and corroborated the existence of a complaint he made racist remarks while working for the agency.
Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) told President Joe Biden on Thursday to drop Chipman’s nomination in response to the allegations. He said the claims combined with Chipman’s history of supporting strict new gun laws made him unworkable as an ATF director.
“In light of these credible allegations, and Mr. Chipman’s long record of anti-Second Amendment extremism, the President must withdraw Mr. Chipman’s nomination,” McConnell said.
Here’s the thing, Biden’s people vetted Chipman before he was nominated, so they knew he had a complaint of racism against him. They don’t care because democrats are all racist and the important thing here is for them to install a rabid anti-gun crusader at the ATF.
