Publicly, DHS chief Alejandro Mayorkas says the Joe Biden’s immigration policies are working but behind the scenes it’s a different story. In leaked audio, Mayorkas admitted to CBP agents that the illegal alien border surge is unsustainable and a losing game for the U.S. Don’t worry, this rare moment of honesty doesn’t mean the Biden administration will do anything to stop the flood of illegals they invited in.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection captured 212,000 illegal aliens in July, the highest number recorded in 21 years. Imagine how many they didn’t catch. However you look at it, that is a crisis of epic proportions.
Fox News reports that even Mayorkas can see what a cluster*ck Joe Biden has created on our Southern border:
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas met privately with Border Patrol agents in Texas and said in leaked audio that the border crisis is “unsustainable” and “we’re going to lose” if “borders are the first line of defense.”
“A couple of days ago I was down in Mexico, and I said look, you know, if, if our borders are the first line of defense, we’re going to lose and this is unsustainable,” Mayorkas said Thursday, according to the audio obtained by Fox News’ Bill Melugin through a Border Patrol source. “We can’t continue like this, our people in the field cant continue and our system isn’t built for it.”
Mayorkas told the agents that the current border situation “cannot continue.” He said the federal government’s system was not designed to handle such an influx of migrants as the U.S. has seen in recent months and he was “very well” aware that the sector recently came close to “breaking.”
How much do you want to bet that whatever whistleblower CBP agent recorded that audio gets fired? It’s only courageous to do this kind of thing when it’s directed at Republicans. Otherwise, it’s treason.
Around the same time Mayorkas admitted to CBP agents that we’re totally screwed, he put on a brave face and lied to the public:
Mayorkas defends U.S. border strategy as migrant apprehensions reach 21-year high
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Thursday strongly defended the Biden administration’s strategy for dealing with migration to the U.S.-Mexico border, where inderdictions of migrants and asylum-seekers have reached levels not seen in over two decades.
Standing in front of Border Patrol vehicles in south Texas, Mayorkas said the administration is expanding enforcement efforts to deter economic migrants from attempting to enter the U.S. without permission, while gradually expanding access to the U.S. asylum system for those fleeing violence.
Inderdictions of migrants? Inderdiction means the act of prohibiting something. 212,000 illegal aliens, not migrants, came into the U.S. in July, so clearly nothing is being prohibited here.
Mayorkas dove off the deep end into his own pool of liquid bullshit by blaming everything on Trump:
But Mayorkas said the spike in border apprehensions was also fueled by the resurgent U.S. economy and the Biden administration’s reversal of several Trump-era policies, such as the practice of requiring asylum applicants to wait in Mexico, often in dangerous and squalid conditions, for their U.S. court hearings.
“Another reason is the end of the cruel policies of the past administration and the restoration of the rule of laws of this country that Congress has passed, including our asylum laws that provide humanitarian relief,” said Mayorkas.
Entering the United States without permission is against the law. Why doesn’t Mayorkas seem concerned about the restoration of that rule of law?
Joe Biden created this border crisis and Mayorkas knows it. The DHS head also knows the crisis is about to become a full-blown catastrophe. He however isn’t going to do anything about it because all of this was by design. The illegal immigrant surge is working just as it was intended to.
