I honestly don’t see what the big deal is here. As I’ve pointed out in the past, universities around the country have had vaccine mandates for as long as I can remember for students being admitted. It’s a large population in a small area and it’s prudent for universities to ensure that students aren’t spreading diseases which, as you might imagine, can run rampant in a short period of time.
When I went to university, I had to prove that I’ve had certain vaccines and get them if I hadn’t. It wasn’t a big deal then and shouldn’t be a big deal now.
Of course I understand the argument is that the vaccine hasn’t been fully approved by the FDA, but we know that’s coming soon for the Pfizer vaccine. But regardless, why would universities not mandate vaccines that have thus far been proven to prevent hospitalization and severe disease, especially in the middle of a pandemic.
Look I’m not pushing vaccines on anyone, but I don’t have any problem with universities mandating COVID vaccines for students on campus.
I’m sure some of you will disagree with me, and that’s fine.
When I went to college, I had to get certain vaccines to be admitted. As far back as I can remember, it's always been mandatory because of the nature of the population in close quarters. So why should COVID be any diff? https://t.co/JYIMUuCKqk

Perhaps a Supreme Court Justice requires time to grow and meld into the position. However, with each decision Coney Barrett makes I’m becoming more convinced she is not the conservative President Trump was led to believe she is. Perhaps we’ll eventually see more true conservatism coming from her. At my age, I can only hope to live ling enough to see it.
