After Biden assured us that the Taliban wouldn’t takeover Afghanistan following the U.S. troop withdrawal, the Taliban seized control of the country faster than Joe creeps on a little girl. This is Biden’s mess all the way but his former boss, Obama, may have set the table for the epic failure. One of the Taliban commanders, who just took the presidential palace in Kabul, was released from Guantanamo Bay by Obama.
On Sunday, the Afghan capitol of Kabul fell to the Taliban, completing their takeover of the country. As the terrorists took the presidential palace, Al Jazeera was on hand to document that thing that Biden said was impossible. The Times of London reported this interesting bit of information:
A Taliban commander told how he spent eight years in Guantanamo Bay in a speech from inside the presidential palace in Kabul, as the group promised a rule of “serenity” and “no revenge”.
Al Jazeera live-streamed a press conference yesterday from inside the palace, in which the unnamed commander claimed he had been held at the American military prison in Cuba.
The U.S. invaded Afghanistan in October of 2001, under Operation Enduring Freedom. The very earliest this Taliban commander could have been captured and sent to Guantanamo Bay was the Fall of 2001. If he was there for 8 years, that means the earliest he could have been released was the Fall of 2009. That also means he was released during Barack Obama’s reign of uselessness.
It doesn’t necessarily mean he was released in 2009, it’s just that the timeline dictates that he was set free during Obama’s presidency. Obama released 197 terrorists from Guantanamo Bay, many who proceed to join ISIS, taking the “JV team” to the big leagues. President Trump only released one prisoner from Guantanamo Bay and he is still serving his prison sentence in Saudi Arabia.
But wait, it gets even more grotesque. This unnamed Taliban commander could have been one of the 5 terrorists Obama swapped for deserter Bowe Bergdahl. Bergdahl was an Army Sergeant who deserted his post in Afghanistan to join the Taliban. In 2014, Obama traded 5 hardcore Taliban fighters for Bergdahl. At the time, Obama assured us these terrorists had learned their lesson and would not be returning to the battlefield.

I realize these assholes all look pretty similar, but the unnamed Taliban commander in the presidential palace bears a striking resemblance to the one on the far-right, Abdul Haq Wasiq.
They have the same eyebrows, eyes, nose, and mouth. It could be the same guy or it could be a lack of biological diversity among Muslim terrorists.
Whatever the case, it’s a fact that this unnamed Taliban commander was in U.S. custody and was released by Obama to help the terrorists seize control of Afghanistan. 5 years removed from office and Obama is still f*cking things up.
Joe Biden promised that the Taliban wouldn’t take over Afghanistan after he ordered the withdrawal of all U.S. troops. Barack Obama promised that the Taliban fighters he released from Guantanamo Bay wouldn’t return to the battlefield.
These two lies have collided in devastating fashion because the Taliban controls Afghanistan and one of Obama’s buddies is sitting in the presidential palace in Kabul.
