The Fix Is In: Police Catch Felon With 300 California Recall Election Ballots

It’s not that democrats are good at stealing elections, they’re actually quite sloppy. The thing they have going for them is a liberal media who is willing to look the other way when the fishy stuff starts happening. Take for instance the convicted felon who was caught with 300 ballots for the California recall election. Nothing to see here, folks, Move along.

California Governor Gavin Newsom faces a recall election next month for running the state into the ground. The polling is a lot closer than Newsom would like in this deep blue sea of liberalism, so he needs to take action. He tried to make the election all-mail-in ballots, because that’s the easiest way to fix elections but unfortunately for him there will be in-person voting.

The next easiest way to steal an election is through ballot harvesting and ballot theft. With that in mind, check out what ABC7 in Los Angeles is reporting:

Authorities are investigating why 300 unopened vote-by-mail ballots for the upcoming recall election were found – along with a gun, drugs and stolen mail – in a car parked at a Torrance convenience store.

The discovery was made Aug. 16 when Torrance police were called around 10:45 p.m. about a man sleeping in his car at a 7-Eleven parking lot.

This happened on August 16 and it wasn’t reported until a week later? Interesting.

“Inside the vehicle, the officers found a loaded handgun, some narcotics, and then they found a bunch of mail and what turned out to be over 300 election ballots in the backseat of the vehicle,” said Torrence PD Sgt. Mark Ponegalek.

Where the ballots come from is equally as interesting:

“The election ballots, they were un-tampered with, unopened, a little over 300 of them found, primarily from addresses in Lawndale. There were some from Compton,” said ,” Ponegalek.

Lawndale and Compton have substantial black populations, AKA people who don’t usually vote. If you could take ballots from those places and cast them for a particular democrat, nobody would ever complain or raise the alarm.

Fox News adds to the intrigue with this tidbit of information:

Police said new election ballots were being sent to those identified through the investigation and that the incident was not tied to any additional thefts of election ballots.

So there have been other ballot thefts? And this is the first we’re hearing about it?

Torrence police has said they don’t know how the suspect got the ballots or what his intentions were with them. I have a theory: The ballots are worth money to interested parties, like perhaps some well-funded leftist groups trying to make sure Newsom stays in office.

Think about it: why would a drug addicted scumbag have a car load full of unopened ballots? If he was stealing mail, looking for checks and gift cards, he would grabs those things instead. He would however steal ballots if those ballots could be flipped for cash.

The fact that there have been other ballot thefts says that these things are worth money.

Then there’s this thing that has my Spidey senses tingling:

Police say the man was a felon. The drugs found included Xanax pills and methamphetamine. Police say they also found multiple California driver’s licenses and credit cards in the names of other people.

The man was taken into custody, but has since been released on his own recognizance.

Illegal passion of a firearm is a felony. Possession of illegal drugs in this amount is a felony. Identity theft is a felony. Stealing mail is a felony. Stealing ballots is a felony. All of these things are a felony on a felony when committed by a convicted felon. That’s a life-in-prison amount of crimes right there.

And yet they let him go on his own recognizance? Also, did you notice how the news and the police haven’t identified this guy by his name?

My guess is the cops accidentally busted up part of an election theft scheme and they are very very sorry. It won’t happen again.

What will probably happen is that Newsom survives the recall effort because clearly the fix is in.
