What a great day in America! The Texas abortion ban is the law now and Nasty Pelosi is not happy about it. She and some of her leftist colleagues are crying on Twitter about what a “travesty” this law is. This from therightscoop.com.
SCOTUS’s failure to block #SB8 has delivered catastrophe to women in Texas. This radical law is an all out effort to erase the rights and protections of Roe v Wade.
— Nancy Pelosi (@SpeakerPelosi) September 1, 2021
Every woman, everywhere has the constitutional and moral right to basic reproductive health care. We will fight SB8 and all immoral and dangerous attacks on women’s health and freedoms with all our strength.
— Nancy Pelosi (@SpeakerPelosi) September 1, 2021
Catastrophe to women? The only ones this was a catastrophe for was the innocent, the unborn. This isn’t and never has been reproductive health care. It’s baby murder and Texas just effectively outlawed it. It’s a glorious day in Texas!
Here’s more crying from her colleagues:
I’m thinking about the Black, brown, low-income, queer, and young folks in Texas. The folks this abortion health care ban will disproportionately harm.
Wealthy white folks will have the means to access abortion care. Our communities won’t.
— Cori Bush (@CoriBush) September 1, 2021
This is a stunning remark by a black congresswoman, who should know better than anyone that unborn black babies were the ones disproportionately harmed by the despicable practice of abortion.
Let’s be clear about what just happened in Texas: The second-largest state in America has effectively banned abortions. We can’t rely on the courts to protect our rights. It’s time for national laws to ensure reproductive freedom. pic.twitter.com/F2xqwQ68nZ

I detest hearing the voice of Lizzie Warren. I strongly disagree with her politics and I even find her hard to look at. However, I am humored when I read that a politician has said or has written. “Let’s be clear” or “Let’s be perfectly clear.” I learned at a young age that what follows those words is not clear and is terribly biased and misrepresented.
1 in 4 women have had an abortion. As one of them, I know that this attack is cruel, dangerous, and unjust.
We must respond by urgently passing the Women’s Health Protection Act — removing barriers to care and defending the right to choose.
Reproductive rights are human rights. https://t.co/USaY18bcTr

Other notables:
Midnight in Austin. For the first time since 1973, a state has banned abortion. The great conservative legal project has succeeded. RIP #RoeVWade
— Jeffrey Toobin (@JeffreyToobin) September 1, 2021
It’s worth noting that many of the same people attacking the Biden Administration for leaving women’s rights behind in Afghanistan are eager to control women’s bodies and choices in the United States.
— Dan Rather (@DanRather) September 1, 2021
And finally this one from Miss Obvious, Lila Rose:
Abortion is now virtually illegal in Texas.

Final note: Prepare yourselves for collateral fallout conservatives. These pathological democrats are shedding crocodile tears now, but this is only step 1. I won’t venture to guess in what order their actions will unfold, however, we can expect these vindictive, vengeful dems to proceed with their efforts to perhaps pack The Supremes, attack the Second Amendment, perhaps ramp up COVID-related mandates, and/or even try to limit personal travel across state lines. And this will only be the start of it. They will not accept this decision–just as we conservatives are not accepting the stolen election and the installment of The Regime.
