There are certain details of a murder suspect, like being white or a Trump supporter, that will set the liberal media off with cries of white supremacy and domestic terrorism. The same is not true if the killer is black or Muslim or both. A black convicted sex offender in Minnesota, home of George Floyd, was ranting about “Allah” after murdering a black teenager and so far none of the fake news networks are claiming an epidemic of jihad.
The Twin Cities Pioneer Press reports that on Sunday night, 37-year-old rapist Dennis John Edmondson, his girlfriend, and their 6-year-old daughter were out for a drive in St, Paul, Minnesota. The trio stopped at a gas station and Edmondson was approached by a woman selling clothing. Edmondson was in no mood for shopping so he puled out his gun and told the woman, “I will shoot you.”
Edmondson got back in his pimped out Ford Taurus, driven by his girlfriend, and took off. A couple of blocks down the road, a Jeep full of teenagers stopped beside the Taurus at a light. Edmondson said he was annoyed by the teenagers because they had dared to look at him.
“What the f*ck are you looking at?” Edmondson shouted.
And with that, Edmondson pulled out his .40 caliber gun and fired at least 5 shots into the Jeep. The Jeep’s driver, 18-year-old Lavonte Baymon-Love, was hit in the head and neck. The Jeep crashed and Baymon-Love was taken to the hospital where he died.
On Monday, SWAT team surrounded Edmondson’s house and took him into custody. Then there’s this odd detail:
Edmondson was arrested Monday at a residence in the 600 block of Cook Avenue in St. Paul. Investigators attempted to speak to him, but said he was “agitated and rambled about Allah, and the interview was terminated because it did not seem as though it would be fruitful,” the complaint states.
Change the race of the shooter to white and the word “Allah” to “Trump” and you’ve got yourself a national story and weeks of liberal outrage.
As it turns out, Edmondson is a world-class piece of shit. He was convicted of raping a 13-year-old babysitter and impregnating his 12-year-old “girlfriend.” A warrant had been out on him since last October because he stopped showing up for his supervised release meetings.
This story has everything the liberal media wants to ignore: black-on-black violence, the futility of gun control, jihad, etc…
If this had been a white Trump supporter shooting a black teen the headlines would scream: Inspired By Trump’s hateful Rhetoric, White Supremacist Kills Black Teen!
I haven’t found any headlines that read: Inspired By Taliban Takeover, Muslim Executes Black Teen.
I don’t actually know that Edmondson is a Muslim or that it had anything to do with the murder, it could just be that he’s a dick. I’m trying to point out how selective the liberal media is with their outrage as well as how they build their bullshit narratives. Every white criminal is a racist domestic terrorist while every black scumbag killer is treated like a victim of systemic racism.
Meanwhile they will continue to spoon-feed the lies that the biggest danger to the black community is white cops and the biggest threat to our country is from white supremacist extremism.
