Something about the Justice for J6 rally at the Capitol this week stinks. Earlier in the week Capitol Police apprehended a fake white supremacist who was allegedly hunting democrats. Now, the fence is going back up and the Capitol Police are asking for the military’s help. Former Trump aide Roger Stone smells a rat and is warning it’s a trap.
On Saturday there is supposed to be a big pro-Trump rally at the Capitol in support of the people who were arrested in the January 6 “insurrection.” Speaking to Russia Today, Roger Stone channeled Admiral Ackbar to say, “Its a Trap!”
“This is called agitprop. I don’t know a single person in the MAGA movement who’s going. It’s a setup. Here’s my suggestion, the people who will be there will all be working for the government. Nice try. I don’t know a single person who’s going. I’m not going,” said Stone.
“The danger is obvious. There’s so many unanswered questions about January 6, now they’re trying to recreate it. It’s a sympathy ploy. Let’s face it: Jan. 6 gave the government the single greatest opportunity they’ve ever had to abridge our constitutional rights, particularly our First Amendment rights. No, patriots, stay away from Washington. This is what is called a setup,” Stone said.
Stone was then asked about reports that the Capitol Police are expecting armed protesters.
“If there’s a single armed protester there, they’ll be working for the federal government. This is so obvious. Who would go there armed? Folks, I’m appealing to you. Stay away. Stay safe. Stay in your homes and, by all means, never bring a firearm to the District of Columbia,” said Stone.
The democrats got a lot of mileage out of January 6 and Stone is right that they’d love to create a second one to further crush all dissent on the right. They want nothing more than a bloody violent protest with armed MAGAs and white supremacists.
In fact, The Hill is reporting that the Capitol Police are bringing in the military:
Capitol Police has asked the Pentagon to provide military personnel ahead of Saturday’s pro-Trump Jan. 6 rally in Washington, D.C., the Defense Department confirmed Wednesday.
Pentagon press secretary John Kirby said the department has “received a request from the Capitol Police for some assistance for this weekend’s scheduled protest.”
He would not say more on the specific request, noting that it is typical Defense Department policy to let the agency asking for assistance be the ones to speak on the details.
Is it weird that Kirby is so tight-lipped on this? If the Capitol Police want soldiers, why wouldn’t he just say that? With this secrecy, perhaps the Capitol police is asking for federal agents to pose as armed Trump supporters and militia members.
Most of the major players in the January 6 mild protests were leftists agitators and crisis actors, so why wouldn’t the try the same thing this weekend? The difference is, there were unwitting Trump supporters who where caught up in the action on January 6. Hopefully people heed Roger Stone’s warning and stay away from this one.
Earlier in the year, democrats warned there was going to be a second insurrection on March 4. When that didn’t happen, they moved the date to March 20. That too never came to pass so they said there would be one some time in the summer, possibly August. Now they’ve got it happening this Saturday. Prepare to be underwhelmed.
