Pregnant teen stuffed own mum in suitcase after boyfriend killed her with fruit bowl
A teenager who stuffed her murdered mum’s corpse into a suitcase has been deported.
Heather Mack was pregnant with her accomplice’s child in 2014 when together they murdered Sheila von Wiese Mack during a luxury holiday in Bali, Indonesia.
Some seven years later, the US national and her daughter, six, have been booted from the island and flown back to America.
The so-called “suitcase murder” saw the young mum sentenced to ten years in prison and her boyfriend Tommy Schaefer, 18 years.
Schaefer beat Chicago socialite Sheila von Wiese Mack, 62, to death with a fruit bowl after a row broke out at the five-star St. Regis resort…
In a desperate attempt to hide the body, Schaefer and the then pregnant Mack packed it into a suitcase which they abandoned after trying to load it into a taxi.
Mack’s shorter jail term reflected her lesser charge of assisting in the murder.
Schaefer told the court in 2015 that he killed his partner’s mother out of self defence, as the 62-year-old was furious about her daughter being pregnant.
Prosecutors however alleged that Schaefer (who is black) “blindly hit” his victim with the fruit bowl in a fit of rage after she racially abused him.

Man’s penis rots after being bitten by snake while sitting on toilet in South Africa
A Dutch man had to undergo reconstructive surgery on his penis after a cobra bit his manhood during a safari trip in South Africa — causing it to rot.
The 47-year-old victim suffered scrotal necrosis after the cold-blooded serpent, which was lurking in the toilet bowl, attacked, according to Urology Case Reports.
In what the medical journal described as the first case of “snouted cobra envenomation of the genitals,” the unidentified man had to wait three hours before he was flown by helicopter to the nearest trauma center some 220 miles away.
“His penis and scrotum were noted to be swollen, deep purple in color, and painful on hospital admission. Scrotal necrosis was diagnosed, and he received multiple doses of a non-specific snake venom antiserum and broad-spectrum antibiotics,” according to the medical report.
The man reported vomiting and a burning sensation as well as pain that shot up from his groin into the abdomen and upper chest – though he developed no neurological symptoms during the ordeal.

Scientists In Study: Toxic Chemicals In McDonald’s Food Linked To Smaller Testicles And Asthma
There are reasons fast food is known as junk food. It doesn’t just make you fat. Scientists have found traces in food of toxic compounds that are used to make industrial tubing and rubber gloves, and they’re calling for stronger regulations to help keep these harmful chemicals out of the food supply.
These chemicals can cause consumers’ testicles to be smaller, lead to infertility and increase the chances of getting asthma, according to a new study.
Dozens of items from fast food franchises McDonald’s, Burger King and Pizza Hut were tested and found to contain toxic compounds known as phthalates, a class of chemicals used to make plastics flexible.
Researchers at George Washington University obtained 64 samples of hamburgers, fries, chicken nuggets, chicken burritos and cheese pizza from six of the most popular fast-food chains.
More than 80 percent of the food items sampled had phthalates, also known as plasticizers, used in hundreds of products such as vinyl flooring, plastic packaging, soaps, and detergents, according to the study.
Phthalates have been linked to thyroid disease, cancer, liver damage, infertility, asthma, and small testicles. They are also linked to learning disabilities, behavioral problems, and attention deficit disorders in children.
The study found out that in general, foods containing meat such as cheeseburgers and chicken burritos had higher levels of chemicals compared to those that did not contain meat, such as French fries and cheese pizza.
Chicken McNuggets, burgers and milkshakes can encounter phthalates and replacement plasticizers anywhere along the food supply chain, from processing and packaging equipment to plastic gloves worn by employees, the researchers said.
Considering how much black people like McDonald’s, this one might actually be racist.

Testicle for sale? Bloomington police say incident at salon may have been prank
Two men who entered a Bloomington hair salon around noon Oct. 5 told the shop owner they had something to sell she might be interested in buying.
It wasn’t shampoo or styling gel.
She reported that they opened up a black box and showed her a white sphere floating in a yellow liquid. They told the proprietor of Zodiac Hair and Nails, to her surprise, that the box contained a human testicle.
She later told Bloomington Police Department Officer Nolan Penter she didn’t know if it was real, having never seen anything like it.
The 57-year-old business owner told the men she wasn’t interested. They left the shop and headed west on 17th Street in a Volkswagen Jetta. She called the cops.
Monroe County Chief Deputy Prosecutor Jeff Kehr and police suspect it may have been some kind of prank. There have been no other similar reports, BPD Capt. Ryan Pedigo said this week.
Case No. B21-35729 was listed under the crime category “suspicious person/circumstance” on BPD’s daily crime log. The narrative states: “The officer responded to an area beauty salon for the report of two unknown males attempting to sell an unknown object, purported to be a body part.”
Would the sale have been illegal?

Baby born with bizarre 12cm ‘tail’ complete with 4cm-wide fleshy ball in rare case
A bizarre baby has been born with a 12cm real human tail protruding from its left buttock, complete with a freakish 4cm-wide ball on the end
It baffled doctors at Albert Sabin Children’s Hospital in Fortaleza, Brazil, who eventually surgically removed the fleshy ball and chain.
The birth and subsequent surgery have since been logged in the Journal of Pediatric Surgery Case Reports, which shows fascinating photos of the appendage and explains how it came to be.
It transpires that we all had a tail when we were in the womb but, a few weeks after gestation, it is usually reabsorbed into the body.
However, in incredibly rare instances this does not occur and the tail continues to grow.
Doctors in Brazil have also confirmed that this child’s tail contained no cartilage or bone, making it a “true human tail” and one of just 40 ever documented. According to the journal, the first report of such a tail dates back to the 19th century.
The journal report concluded that the true human tail was a “rare congenital anomaly” and admitted that the science behind why some embryonic tails aren’t reabsorbed “is not fully understood”.
Humanity’s ape ancestors are thought to have lost their tails some 25 million years ago, possibly due to a genetic mutation that improved our upright mobility.

Nude Instagram model ‘helped break mum out of prison by distracting guard’
A Colombian Instagram influencer is facing jail time, after allegedly busting her mother out of prison by distracting the guard.
Aída Victoria Merlano, a 21-year-old model, is accused of playing a crucial role in helping her mum, a former politician, to climb out of a building using a rope, which Aída supposedly helped smuggle.
The model’s mother, Aída Merlano Rebolledo, managed to escape from prison just weeks after being convicted and sentenced to 15 years in a Bogota prison.
In 2019, Aída Merlano, then aged 38, became a senator but was quickly caught up by authorities who discovered evidence of voter fraud, corruption and illegal possession of weapons to her name.
hile in prison, it is alleged that the former senator went to a dentist’s appointment located outside the penitentiary, accompanied by a prison guard and driver.
Vice reported that the prison guard had allowed Aída Merlano to go into the dentist’s check-up room alone and that they had stayed outside in the waiting area.
Trial evidence showed that the dentist went on to leave the felon to her own device in the examination room, which gave her enough time to bolt out “by tying a rope to a table and descending out the window”.
Authorities revealed video footage from outside the building, which captured a hanging red cord as “stunned onlookers” observed Aída Merlano climbing down.
As bystanders watched the scene unfold in total confusion, the convicted politician went on to jump at the back of a motorcycle, which is alleged to have been driven by a man posing as a delivery driver before speeding off.
As her mother was on the run for three months, Aída Victoria monetised on the whole scandal, which had made international headlines.
The Instagram model earned the cover of a magazine, where she posed nude and handcuffed along with a tagline reading: “The Daughter of the Fugitive Congresswoman Confesses.”

Alyssa Milano: Giving birth reminded me of being sexually assaulted
Alyssa Milano’s experience with childbirth triggered memories of past sexual assault, she revealed in a new interview.
“After going through therapy after giving birth to Milo and remembering that one moment of feeling like I was being held down and had things being done to me that I didn’t want, to me, was very reminiscent of being sexually assaulted,” Milano, 48, told People’s podcast “Me Becoming Mom.”
“It triggered all of these memories that I thought I had dealt with.”
She was specifically triggered when she realized how so many people had “access” to her vagina while she was giving birth to her daughter.
“I remembered at one point really not enjoying the fact that lots of people had access to my vagina,” she said, adding, “and thinking to myself, ‘Why does — I don’t like this. Why does it feel so familiar? I’ve never had a baby before. Why does this invasive feeling feel so familiar?’”
Milano also noted that the triggering moments of childbirth could also contribute to postpartum anxiety.
“I gotta think that because it felt that way for me, it must’ve felt that way for other women. I wonder how much of my postpartum anxiety was due to — of course, hormones and all of the things — but also that feeling that felt like I wasn’t in control, you know?” she said.

Mum ‘made her sons live with their brothers rotting body for months in horror house’
A mother and her partner locked her three children in a room with their deadbrother’s body and left them to starve for several months, it has been claimed.
Gloria Williams, 35, reportedly left her children to fend for themselves in their Texas home – which has since been dubbed the ‘Houston house of horrors’.
Her boyfriend Brian Coulter, 31, is charged with the murder of her eight-year-old Kendrick Lee while she has been charged with injury to a child and tampering with evidence.
It has been reported that the decomposed body was discovered inside an apartment together with the three other children who were reported to be malnourished…
Court officials appointed a defence lawyer to represent Williams in the case, the district attorney’s office said.
According to reports Kendrick’s body was left to rot under a blanket in full view of his brothers for nearly a year while Williams and Coulter moved into another apartment.
After they left in March, prosecutors claim Williams would deliver groceries to the children each month and paid the rent in order to hide the boy’s remains…
Asked why she had left her sons Williams said: “I checked on them every two weeks.”

Notorious beggar ordered to not defecate in street for another two years
A notorious beggar who has around 170 offences to his name has been told his Criminal Behaviour Order, which prohibits him from doing a number of anti-social activities, has been extended for another two years.
In February this year, police applied for Anthony Fox’s Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO), made in October 2016, to be renewed in an attempt to curb his wayward tendencies.
He was initially made subject of an Anti-social Behaviour Order in 2013 before being handed a five-year Criminal Behaviour Order from October 2016.
At the latest hearing, which was held at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on October 26 – just one day before the expiry of the five-year CBO – the court heard how Fox was now in accommodation in Stoke Road, Stonehouse and was engaging with support services.
However, the magistrates approved the extension of the CBO with minor amendments.
According to court documents, Fox was told his prohibitions meant he was not to:
* approach any person to ask them for money or demand money from them
* direct foul or abusive language at any person
* be in possession of any legal highs
* remain outside any premises on the Plymouth Against Retail Crime Scheme if asked not to by any employee, police officer, police community support officer or PARC Ranger
* urinate or defecate in any public place (save for purpose designed toilets open to the public and then only in appropriate receptacles).
It turns out beggars can’t be choosers but they can still be losers.

Double murderer sexually assaulted dozens of corpses in hospital mortuaries
A hospital electrician has admitted murdering two women decades before he began carrying out dozens of sex attacks on corpses in mortuaries.
David Fuller, 67, pleaded guilty to murdering Wendy Knell, 25, and Caroline Pierce, 20, in two separate attacks in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, in 1987, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said.
On Thursday (November 4), four days into his trial at Maidstone Crown Court, he changed his pleas after initially pleading not guilty to murder on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
The court heard how Fuller sexually assaulted the two women after he had killed them.
It can now be reported that ahead of his trial, Fuller pleaded guilty to 51 other offences, including 44 charges relating to 78 identified victims in mortuaries where he was working as an electrician.
However, investigators have detected at least 99 potential victims, including three children under the age of 18 and others older than 85.
The charges relate to offences carried out between 2008 and November last year, and include the sexual penetration of a corpse, possessing an extreme pornographic image involving sexual interference with a corpse and taking indecent images of children.
Fuller filmed himself carrying out the attacks at mortuaries inside the now-closed Kent and Sussex Hospital and the Tunbridge Wells Hospital, in Pembury, where he worked in electrical maintenance roles since 1989.
And he got his electrician’s certificate with a scholarship from the United Necro College Fund.

Zoo sparks outrage by forcing baby monkey to take a puff as ‘anti-smoke campaign’
A zoo has come under fire after a video showed a baby monkey taking a puff of a cigarette as their latest “anti-smoking campaign”.
The baby monkey, named Banjin, is one of the new residents in Hengshui Wildlife Park in Hebei province of northern China.
The video, which went viral on Chinese app Douyin, shows little Banjin sitting on a small bench and holding a lit cigarette in his mouth.
Seconds later, a woman behind the camera removes the cigarette and the macaque falls off the bench, hitting the ground.
An overlay text wrote: “Oops, it’s hitting him. Smoking is harmful to one’s health.”
The woman places a thin towel over Banjin, who looks glassy while blank staring in the room.
The video has sparked outrage online and the staff has taken down the video since, saying the captive monkeys don’t usually smoke.
They explained that they post the video online to raise awareness against smoking.

Florida ‘Teacher of the Year’ arrested for hitting pupil who criticized award
A Florida educator was busted for child abuse two days after being named Teacher of the Year — for allegedly hitting a student who criticized her getting the award, according to police.
High school English teacher Caroline Melanie Lee, 60, was proudly hailed for her achievement by the Duval County Public Schools last Wednesday, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
She was arrested Friday, accused of hitting a female pupil in the face and leaving her with a bloody nose, the arrest report said.
Lee allegedly demanded the pupil come to her office after she read a comment thread on the Instagram post that challenged her new award, accusing her of using the N-word in classes.
The pupil — who was not identified because she is a juvenile — was too terrified to go to Lee’s office, she told investigators.
But the teacher stormed into her classroom and demanded she leave with her, the police report said, with surveillance showing the teacher “walking ahead … at an aggressive pace,” the affidavit said.
Once alone in Lee’s classroom, the teacher shut the door — and then “reached across the table and struck her on her face with the heel of her palm,” the girl told investigators.
“Lee then began repeatedly calling her a ‘f—ing bitch’ as she landed several more strikes on the top of her head” and also “kicked her on her lower leg,” she told officers.
Surveillance footage shows the girl holding her face as she went straight to the school’s guidance counselor to report the alleged attack, the report said.
Lee admitted being in the classroom, but denied hitting the girl — and “could not explain the bloody nose,” officers said. She also admitted using the N-word in classes, but only while reading it in John Steinbeck’s “Of Mice and Men,” the arrest warrant said.
Now they’re teaching Critical Face Theory in schools.

Catskill man burst into flames after police tasered him
A 29-year-old Catskill man is in a Syracuse burn unit after he burst into flames when Catskill police officers used a Taser to subdue him after he had doused himself with hand sanitizer, police confirmed on Friday.
Jason Jones, a celebrated athlete at Catskill High School more than a decade ago, is in an intensive care unit at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. His condition is grave, according to people briefed on the matter.
The incident unfolded last weekend when Jones, who appeared intoxicated, walked into the village police department and got into a confrontation with officers. Chief Dave Darling, a former State Police senior investigator, confirmed that officers deployed a Taser to subdue Jones, who was familiar to them from past encounters.
“I think they were afraid he was going to hurt himself, and that’s what started it,” Darling said. “There are still details that we’re trying to develop.”
The chief described the incident as “horrible” and said it is under investigation by the Greene County district attorney’s office. It’s unclear when Jones poured hand sanitizer on himself, and if police saw him do it. Darling did not respond to follow-up questions.
A law enforcement source briefed on the investigation said that Jones had stripped off some his clothing in the police station and doused himself with hand sanitizer in front of officers before they tasered him. The chief declined to comment on that information.
Adding insult to injury, cancel culture called him out for showing up at the hospital in blackface.
