Day 6: Jury Doxxing Attempt Announced, Prosecution Rests, Defense Calls Two Witnesses—Testimony of Both Directly Contradicts Evidence From Two State Witnesses

Circuit Court Judge Bruce E. Schroeder reported that someone was seen recording Kyle Rittenhouse’s jury when they were picked up by the bus for the courtroom this morning. Schroeder said the officers asked the person to delete the video and if it happens again they will take the phone and bring it to court. This from thegatewaypundit.com.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported about a man named Cortez Rice, claiming to be a relative of George Floyd, has posted a video threatening jurors if they do not convict Kyle Rittenhouse. The deceased criminal’s nephew, Cortez Rice, claimed that he knows people who have been taking photos of the jurors at the courthouse.

Tuesday morning, on the sixth day of trial, the prosecution rested its case.

Prosecutors wrapped up their case after hearing testimony from Dr. Doug Kelley, a forensic pathologist with the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner, NBC News reported. This from dailymail.co.uk.

Kelley testified on the gunshot wounds that killed Anthony Huber and Joseph Rosenbaum on Aug. 25, 2020.

Kelley said Rittenhouse shot Rosenbaum at close range multiple times, causing injuries to his groin, hand, thigh, head, and back.

Rittenhouse’s attorney, Mark Richards, asked Kelley if the injuries to Rosenbaum’s hand indicate he had his hand over the barrel of Rittenhouse’s AR-15-style rifle when he was shot.

“That makes sense,” Kelley said, according to Wisconsin Public Radio.

Kelley said the gunshot wound to Rosenbaum’s back occurred when he was falling forward, not walking away from Rittenhouse. The shots to the head and back were fired at a downward angle

Kelley said Huber, meanwhile, died from a gunshot wound to the chest, causing blood loss and trauma to the heart and lungs. The Minneapolis Star Tribune reported that drone footage taken during the protests showed Huber striking Rittenhouse with a skateboard before the latter opened fire on him.

After prosecutors rested their case, Judge Bruce Schroeder granted the defense’s motion to dismiss a curfew citation against Rittenhouse, CNN reported. Rittenhouse’s attorneys said prosecutors didn’t prove there was a curfew in place.

The defense called witness Nicholas Smith first.

Both Smith and the next witness called by the defense, JoAnn Fielder, gave testimony that directly contradicted evidence given by two state witnesses.

JoAnn Fiedler told the court that Rittenhouse had ‘fallen into her’ as she had opened the door to the Car Source business that she and others were protecting that night.

Stammering, shaking, sweating and pale, Rittenhouse had been hammering on the door before ‘falling in’ and making his confession.

Fiedler said that Rittenhouse came to the Car Source building after what she now knows to have been his shooting of Huber, Rosenbaum, and Grosskreutz.

Kyle Rittenhouse stammered to Fiedler, ‘My God my life might be over,’ as he admitted that he had ‘shot someone’ on the night of August 25, 2020, and he said that he ‘had to do it.’

A good defense discredits each item presented by the prosecution. And Rittenhouse’s defense seems to be well on their way to doing that. Stay tuned for more…
