Black Lives Matter had a good run with NYC Mayor Bill ‘Defund the Police” de Blasio but he’s gone and the guy coming in, Eric Adams, has vowed to restore the rule of law in the Big Apple. Faced with the unthinkable fate of having to obey the law, BLM has vowed riots and bloodshed if Adams even thinks about arresting black people for crimes they have committed. They seem so reasonable, don’t they?
The NY Post reports that New York BLM cofounder Hawk Newsome had a sit-down meeting with Mayor Elect Adams, a former NYPD officer. Adams informed Hawk that he intends to bring back a revamped version of the armed undercover force known as the Anti-Crime Unit. The Unit had been disbanded under de Blasio as part of the BLM ass-kissing Defund the Police push last year.
Newsome took credit for Adams’ election saying BLM allowed him to “achieve power.” But when Adams wouldn’t back down off of reinstating the Anti-Crime Unit, Newsom left the meeting is a foul mood.
And this is what he says happened next:
“If they think they are going back to the old ways of policing then we’re going to take to the streets again. There will be riots. There will be fire, and there will be bloodshed,” Newsome said.
They’ll be going after Adams as well:
“We will be at his front door, we will be at Gracie Mansion, we will be in the streets, if he allows these police to abuse us,” said Newsome.
And just in case you think these are threats, Newsome explained they aren’t.
“I am not threatening anyone. I am just saying that it’s a natural response to aggressive oppression, people will react,” said Newsome.
“Oppression” is arresting people who commit crimes and threatening to burn the city and kill innocent people is a “natural response.” This guy is so good at changing the meaning of things to fit an unholy agenda he should get a job in the Biden administration.
Newsome’s big fat sister, Chevona, is also pretty good at being completely full of shit.
“Mayor-elect Adams is a bargain-basement Giuliani knockoff who longs for old New York where black folks get their heads cracked by law enforcement and women sit quietly in the back of the room,” said Chevona Newsome.
Women sit quietly in the back of the room? Where’d the sexism shit come from? Also, Giuliani’s NYC was safe, unlike de Blasio’s reign of ineptitude.
“The NYPD’s Anti-Crime Unit is unconstitutional and stomps all over the Fourth Amendment by allowing the police to ride around poor communities hunting Black men while dressed in plainclothes and unmarked vehicles. Mayor-elect Adams’ behavior and rhetoric are hazardous to Black people,” Chivona added.
She may want to go take another look at the Forth Amendment, because it doesn’t say anything about cops not being able to work in plainclothes or drive unmarked cars.
BLM has a thing or two to learn about striking a deal. When your non-negotiable item is that black people must be allowed to rape, rob, and kill without fear of arrest, you ain’t striking a bargain.
They also need to brush up on public relations. When your reaction to being told that the law will be enforced is that you’re going to burn down the city and kill everyone in it, you don’t gain a lot of sympathy for your cause.
