Was this a cat fight, or perhaps a religious war? Boebert explains below.
Boebert said that her already-public apology the other day wasn’t good enough for Omar, and Omar demanded another public apology.
After Omar kept pressing for it, Boebert said that Omar should apologize to the American people for her anti-Semitism and anti-police rhetoric. This went back and forth a little and then Omar hung up on Boebert.
At face value, this she-said/she-said back-street high school sh*t kicking is below Def-Con News standards, however, the intent of this article is follow-up for those of us who last heard that Boebert had “wrongfully” apologized and shouldn’t have because liberals are never satisfied.
Well, what we have here is vindication, of sorts, for those who said ‘Never apologize to a liberal, they’ll never be satisfied.’
And for those who simply wondered whatever became of this mano-a-mano, we now know it was merely Round 2 of one particular battle in what will likely prove to be an endless war. At least, of course, until Boebert becomes convinced that reasoning with a liberal is not possible.
Recap: Boebert initially “expressed regret” for her choice of words—both in-person and telephonically, and Omar was unsatisfied and required more and perhaps accused Boebert of anti-Muslim hate. Boebert then called Omar to task for comments of her own for which Omar has never voiced regret nor an apology. Omar responded by hanging up the phone on Boebert.
Final thought: This reaffirms my opinion of both Ilhan Omar and U.S. Representative Boebert.
