The void left in the the liberal media by Donald Trump’s exit has them struggling to outrage their audience, which has shrunk considerably. Since they aren’t allowed to cover Joe Biden’s disastrous administration, they keep trying bring back viewers by scaring them with tales of Trump-related impending doom. Both The New York Times and NBC are warning of a looming right-wing civil war.
First up is lefty columnist Charles Blow:

This is actually a pretty boring read (shocking, I know) but Blow’s general thesis is that we’re on the verge a civil war fought over abortions:
“A key component of women’s rights and body autonomy is being snatched away as we watch,” wrote Blow. “This is a brazen challenge to our federal structure. It echoes the philosophy of John C. Calhoun, a virulent defender of the slaveholding South who insisted that States had the right to ‘veto’ or ‘nullif[y]’ any federal law with which they disagreed.”
It’s pretty weird for a black guy like blow to liken the enslavement of his people with irresponsible women killing their babies as a matter of convenience.
“I see this country on the verge of another civil war, as the Calhounian impulse is reborn,” Blow wrote.
It’s also pretty weird that Blow didn’t see the looming civil war and the Calhounian impulse when California and New York sued the Trump administration hundreds of times claiming they didn’t have to abide by federal laws they disagreed with.
His premise is also completely flawed because the Supreme Court is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade, allowing states to regulate and ban abortions. The people butthurt by this are feminists and lefty soy boy beta males who aren’t likely to attempt a civil war. Red states that will or already have regulated abortion aren’t going to secede from the union with their state’s rights left intact.
But somehow Blow thinks this abortion civil war is coming and he threw in a bunch race cards to make it super scary for the idiots who read his columns:
“And this war won’t be only about the subjugation of Black people but also about the subjugation of all who challenge the white racist patriarchy,” wrote Blow. “It will seek to push back against all the ‘others’: Black people, immigrants, Muslims, Jews, L.G.B.T.Q. people and, yes, women, particularly liberal ones.”
Whatever.
Next is NBC analyst John Heilemann who says Trump’s forces are poised to overthrow the government:

Sleepy Eyes Chuck Todd asked Heilemann if it was a fact that Trump is trying to pull off a coup. Heilemann replied it was a fact and then backed it up with this:
“Something like at least 8% and maybe as many as 12% of the American people now say that Joe Biden was illegitimate and violence is a appropriate tool for removing him and restoring Donald Trump. That’s somewhere between 20 and 30 million people. That’s a mass movement in America in favor of political violence, which is a new thing,” said Heilemann. “This is 30 million people right now who are ready to take up arms.”
The 5 liberal losers who watch Meet the Press must be terrified at this news.
Ever since the leftist-engineered January 6 “Capitol Insurrection” fell flat, the liberal media has been trying to convince people that there is an impending right-wing revolution/coup/civil war. Maybe they’re hoping the fear mongering will distract from the fact that Joe Biden and the democrats are destroying this country.
The real revolution is going to come at the ballot box in 2022 when democrats are ousted from Congress and 2024 when they lose the White House.
