They say you can’t polish a turd but that didn’t stop Joe Biden from trying. After the worst first year anyone has ever had in the White House, Crazy Joe tried to claim he actually did much better than anyone expected. Granted, nobody expected much, but they also had no idea how truly bad he was going to be.
Biden held his first press conference in forever on Wednesday to mark the one-year anniversary of him occupying the White House. By any measure, the first year Joe’s illegitimate presidency has been a complete disaster and even the liberal media can’t ignore it.
A reporter reeled off a list of Biden’s failures from COVID-19 to inflation to his dead agenda and asked, “Did you overpromise to the American people what you could achieve in your first year in office and how do you plan to course correct going forward?”
“Why you such an optimist?” Biden shot back.
This was the first question Biden took from the press and it was most certainly a pre-approved question and Biden still managed to get snitty with the reporter.
“Look, I didn’t overpromise and what I have, probably uh, outperformed what anyone thought would happen,” Biden said.
The delusion is strong with this one. I think Biden’s handlers have finally figured out a way to make Biden’s dementia work for him.
The only way this answer isn’t a complete load of shit is if he’s talking about what conservatives expected from his illegitimate presidency. Yes, we knew he was going to be terrible but we had no idea he could f*ck things up this bad. In that sense, Joe Biden did in fact outperform what we thought would happen.
He however is not talking about that, he’s trying to claim that last year wasn’t a disaster because he kicked more ass than anyone could have imagined. There are no facts to support this claim.
From there, Biden blamed Republicans for his failures, which he claimed were success and then insulted the American people for being too stupid to understand what an awesome job he’s doing.
“I did not anticipate that there’d be such a stalwart effort to make sure that the most important thing was that president Biden didn’t get anything done. Think about this, what are Republican for?” Biden said.
So after claiming he outperformed, he then says he didn’t get anything done but it’s the Republican’s fault.
“I have to make clear to the American people what we are for, we passed a lie, we passed a lot of things that people don’t even understand what’s all what’s in it understandable,” said Biden.
That’s nice of Joe to clear things up with nonsense. I will give him credit for admitting to passing a lie but he probably shouldn’t tell people they’re too simple to understand his awesomeness.
This answer kept rolling and Biden spent most of it talking about ObamaCare, which is weird since that was something passed over a decade ago by a different White House occupier. At serval points while rambling, Biden promised to end his answer but just kept talking. That’s actually ironic since the question was about Biden breaking his promises and then he breaks promises to STFU.
“And so I don’t think I’ve overpromised and I’m going to cage stay on this track,” Biden said.
I’m not quite sure what that means but clearly Biden did overpromise. He promised he was going to defeat the COVID-19 virus and he hasn’t. He promised he was going to unite the country and it’s more divided than ever, but you could actually make a case that people are starting to unite against him. He promised he was going to build the economy back better than ever and it’s in the crapper. He promised he was going to bring dignity back to the White House and instead we have a braindead drooling moron running the country into the ground.
Literally everything Joe promised he’d do if he was elected hasn’t happened. If that’s not the definition of overpromising, nothing is.
