With the filibuster safe, the democrats’ scheme to nationalize elections and rig the system so they never lose is completely dead. Nobody was harder hit by the preservation of our democracy than Hillary Clinton who claims that for some reason black people will not be able to vote. And speaking of hitting hard, a former Clinton crony demanded that democrats pimp slap democrat Krysten Sinema for opposing the abolishment of the filibuster.
Let’s start with this exciting piece of information from Fox News:
Democrats’ attempt to use a “nuclear option” to get around the filibuster for two major elections bills failed Wednesday after the gambit from Majority Leader Chuck Schumer was stymied by Sens. Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema.
Manchin, D-W.Va., and Sinema, D-Ariz., joined all Senate Republicans in opposing the attempt to alter the Senate filibuster on party lines, resulting in a 48-52 final tally. That vote followed a failed attempt by Democrats to advance the election bills over the Senate’s 60-vote filibuster threshold. All Republicans opposed it.
It’s unclear why Chuckles the Clown called this vote because he knew it would failed and it’s pretty much a gift to Republicans by making vulnerable democrats go on record as supporting this bullshit.
And speaking of bullshit, this was Hillary Clinton’s reaction:
“The U.S. Senate is now on record. Forty-eight Republicans and 2 Democrats are now in the history books for using the filibuster to do what the filibuster does best: block the right of Americans, particularly Black Americans, to vote,” wrote Hillary in a now-deleted tweet.
Well, first of all it was 50 Republicans and 2 democrats who wouldn’t eliminate the filibuster. Secondly, which Americans, particularly black Americans, are now blocked from voting?
Did black people vote in the 2020 election? You bet they did and they’ll be able to vote in the midterms as well. Nothing has changed. Nobody’s right to vote has been taken away.
This is a complete lie that democrats are telling to sell the public on their federal takeover of elections. The thing is, Americans ain’t buying it, mostly because they have voted in the past and know they can still vote in the future. The dumb thing is, this “voter rights” bill is such a low priority for voters and the democrats have burned any credibility they had trying to ram it through.
And speaking of dumb, here’s former Clinton Secretary of Labor, Robert Reich, calling for violence:
“Tonight, Republican senators lined up to shake Krysten Sinema’s hand. Democratic senators should have given her the backs of their hands,” wrote Reich in another deleted tweet.
Awesome. A major liberal figure says the democrats should have lined up and pimp slapped the shit out of Krysten Sinema for preserving the filibuster. That’s not just a call for violence, it’s a call for violence against women. And really, Joe Manchin also opposed abolishing the filibuster, so why didn’t Reich say he should get slapped down? Obviously Reich, like all democrats, hates women.
Once again, democrats have told us who they are: a bunch of race-baiting babies who resort to lies and violence when they don’t get their way.
