The far-Left has been winning political debates for years and years with one simple word—“racist.”
This from en-volve.com.
No matter the topic, all a leftist needed to do to silence their opposition was call them a racist, or a white nationalist, or a white supremacist to win the debate in the media’s mind.
Best-selling author and businessman JD Vance is one of the top four candidates running in the open Ohio Senate seat, vacated by [outgoing] moderate-Republican Senator Rob Portman.
Vance has put out an ad hitting Joe Biden, democrats, and the mass propaganda media all at the same time.
“Are you a racist? Do you hate Mexicans?” Vance asks right at the start of the 30-second ad.
The Hillbilly Elegy author then tackles the woke Left’s favorite trick head-on—before they get a chance to use it against him.
“The media calls us racist for wanting to build Trump’s wall,” Vance continues.
“They censor us, but it doesn’t change the truth. Joe Biden’s open-border is killing Ohioans, with more illegal drugs and more democrat voters pouring into this country.”
Vance then ties Biden’s crisis at the U.S. Southern Border to an issue very near and dear to not only Vance’s heart—but to many struggling families in the Buckeye State and beyond.
“This issue is personal,” Vance says in the powerful ad. “I nearly lost my mother to the poison coming across our border. No child should grow up an orphan. I’m JD Vance and I approve this message, because no matter what THEY call us, WE will put America first.”
Vance has been a strong advocate of strict immigration policies during the campaign.
He’s gone as far as criticizing Biden and warmongering RINOs for wanting to protect democracy in the Ukraine while ignoring the ongoing and growing crisis on our border with Mexico—including in a Fox News Channel interview with Laura Ingraham.
“Republicans refused to give Donald Trump $4 billion for a border wall for four years—they gave Joe Biden $14 billion for Ukrainian aid in a week,” Vance said. “What does that say about the priorities even of Congressional Republicans when they refuse to fund their own border wall but they’re fine with sending tons of money to a country 6,000 miles away.”
Meanwhile, the opioid epidemic continues to ravage lives, families, and communities in small towns all across America.
In fact, The New York Times reported in the first year of the COVID pandemic alone, there were more than 100,000 drug overdose deaths in the U.S.—a 30% surge from the prior year.
Vance is far from alone in the GOP Primary to fill outgoing GOP Sen. Rob Portman’s seat.
The RealClearPolitics average of polling in the race has Vance running a fairly close third, behind Ohio investment banker Mike Gibbons and former Ohio State Representative and Treasurer Josh Mandel.
Former Ohio GOP Chairwoman Jane Timken is also in the race, as are several other lesser-known candidates.
President Trump is yet to issue an endorsement in the race, but all the big-name candidates have been jockeying for the coveted thumbs up from the 45th President of the United States.
With the race as close as it is, Trump’s endorsement ahead of the May 3 primary could make a critical difference for one of the top candidates.
Final thought, an explanation and an exclamation: I’m passing this article along, not necessarily as an endorsement of JD Vance rather as an endorsement of his attack and the lesson he provides on the democrat-communists go-to dirty trick use of the word ‘racist.’
Portman leaving the Senate must be seen as a positive change for the Republican Party. Although not one of the nasty Senate RINOs, Portman was a Bush Republican and often at odds with President Trump. He foolishly and wrongfully sought compromise with democrat-communists which was a waste of energy—We the People well know compromise with the dem-commie cabal is not possible.
