Joe Biden nominated anti-gun racist David Chipman to head the ATF but then had to withdraw him due to his anti-gunism and racism. Having learned nothing from that failure, Biden has once again nominated an anti-gun crusader in Steve Dettelbach. While it’s unclear if Dettelbach is a racist, he sure is a dumbass.
Yesterday, after claiming the 2nd Amendment bans cannons, Joe Biden announced his new nominee for the head of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. Steve Dettelbach is a former U.S. Attorney, appointed by Barack Obama, and a failed candidate for Ohio Attorney General.
He is also an anti-gun radical. When running for Ohio AG, WOSU detailed some of his gun control beliefs:

“We need to keep our kids safe on the way from school and to school in the morning also, and in malls and in churches and in movie theaters and in open air concerts in Las Vegas and all of those other places, too,” said Dettelbach.
The guy running for Ohio AG has a plan to stop kids from being murdered in Las Vegas? I told you he’s a dumbass and there’s even more to come. But first:
Dettelbach proposes a wider range of policies that don’t focus on just schools.
- Taking guns away from domestic violence offenders
- Restricting guns for people who have an established record of serious mental health problems
- Reinstating the assault-style weapons ban
- Universal background checks
Dettelbach said he also has a problem with [a] proposal to arm school teachers and staff who are former military or law enforcement, saying that administrators and police have said before that that’s a bad idea.
“I think this is a politician’s plan quite frankly I mean it doesn’t protect people in any meaningful way it’s more than a day late and much more than a dollar short,” said Dettelbach.
Armed ex-law enforcement and ex-military in schools won’t stop a school shooter? Man, the guy is dumb.

Judging by the date of this dumbass tweet, Dettelbach was trying to pay homage to Muhammad Ali, who had just died, while trying to take a swipe at then-candidate Donald Trump’s plan to institute a travel ban on terrorist-sponsor nations, which democrats falsely dubbed a “Muslim” travel ban.
Dettelbach is so dense that he thinks because of his name, Muhammad Ali was a Muslim foreigner.

I can see why being an anti-gun dumbass would be appealing to Joe Biden since he is an anti-gun dumbass himself, but sooner or later the illegitimate president is going to have to start nominating legitimately qualified people to his cabinet.
