One of Joe Biden’s biggest selling points during the 2020 campaign was that he has a ton of foreign policy experience and would make America respected in the world’s eyes. Like everything he said, it was bullshit. We saw what a mess he’s made out of Afghanistan, Ukraine, Iran, and China. As for that respect thing, world leaders won’t even take Biden’s calls.
Emmanuel Macron was reelected as France’s president on Sunday night and Joe Biden wanted to call and congratulate hime. There was just one problem:

Remember when the President of the United States was the most powerful and respected person on the world? I think it was about a year and half ago. Now, with Biden, our oldest ally won’t even take his call. Maybe it’s because Biden f*cked France out of a lucrative nuclear submarine deal with Australia or perhaps it’s due to Joe being a complete joke.
Macron ghosting Biden is just the latest in world leaders not wanting to speak to him. Just last month as Biden was panicking over the rising gas prices he caused, two other countries told him to get bent. The Hill reports:
Leaders in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) declined calls with President Biden as the war in Ukraine intensified, Middle East and U.S. officials told The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday.
“There was some expectation of a phone call, but it didn’t happen,” a U.S. official told the Journal regarding a call between Biden and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. “It was part of turning on the spigot [of Saudi oil].”
UAE leader Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed also declined a call from Biden, according to the officials.
Officials told the outlet that U.S. relations with the two Gulf countries have been strained over the Biden administration’s lack of support in the war in Yemen and the revived negotiations concerning the Iran nuclear deal.
Biden was going to beg the two oil-producing nations to increase production in hopes of getting gas prices down but they wouldn’t take his calls. I have to again wonder why it’s so important for democrats to pay Iran to make nuclear weapons.
It’s not just these 3 world leaders who don’t want to talk to Biden as Russian president Vladimir Putin won’t take his calls either. Since Russia invaded Ukraine, the U.S. State Department has been trying to get Putin on the phone with Biden but it ain’t happening. They’ve talked to lower-ranked Russian officials, but can’t get through to Putin.
I’m pretty sure Joe is feeling rejected by all of this so maybe his people should set up a phone call with the leader of Trinidad and Tobago. He can tell whoever that is some stories about how he used to drive a big rig and that time he little little kids rub his hairy legs in the pool.
It used to be that when the President of the United States called, world leaders picked up the phone. There is so little respect for Joe Biden that even our allies don’t want to talk to him. When Biden announced “America’s back” on the world stage, the rest of the world said, “yawn.”
