President Trump on Saturday slammed The Regime’s new Disinformation Governance Board, calling out “longtime political operative” Nina Jankowicz, who is set to lead the agency.

“Just revealed that the Biden administration, on top of all the other horrible things happening to our Country, will be putting a longtime political operative in charge of censoring Free Speech,” Trump wrote in a post to his social media platform Truth Social.
“They don’t go after Facebook, Instagram, China’s TikTok, or any of the others that are so unhinged, corrupt, or Radical Left. Our Fake News Media refuses to cover the facts as our Country spirals into Hell!”
Last week the Department of Homeland Security, under Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, announced the formation of the Disinformation Governance Board. Note: DHS is a law enforcement agency.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that despite knowing very little about it, she was fully in favor.
Psaki was also marvelously excited when the White House brought in a bunch of influential TikTokers in order to school them on the President’s narrative about Ukraine and the Russian invasion of that territory.
During Friday’s press briefing, Psaki said that new Disinformation Governance Board head Jankowicz is an “expert on online disinformation,” and has “extensive qualifications” on the matter.
Psaki said Jankowicz is an expert on online disinformation.
What? Is this not backasswards?
Jankowicz has a long history of spreading misinformation, such as that Trump colluded with Russia to “steal” the 2016 election, or that Hunter Biden’s laptop, about which the New York Post published extensively, was Russian disinformation. Psaki said the same thing. Both were wrong.
To be frank, Jankowicz is nothing more than a radical leftist lunatic.
She was formerly in the Wilson Center’s office of disinformation—she was formerly a disinformation fellow at the Wilson Center.
She has testified before Congress as well as the United Kingdom and European Parliaments. But, so what?
She has advised a Ukrainian foreign minister, particularly relevant in this moment, under the auspices of a Fulbright Public Policy Fellowship, and overseen Russia and Belarus programs at the National Democratic Institute. Again, so what?
None of this is resume material for anyone other than a Karl Marx wannabe.
Republicans in Congress have authored a bill to discontinue the “Disinformation Governance Board” as soon as possible.
But is this not another measure of ‘too little too late’? The democrat-communists have already stolen their way to majorities in both houses of congress.
Challenging this Disinformation Governance Board is analogous to putting a new screen on the hen house door after the fox has already gotten in and hunkered down in a corner.
Many of us have referred to this new Board as a Ministry of Truth, harkening back to George Orwell’s 1984, in which a ministry by the same name issues governance on the correct way to think and speak about government policy and reality in general.
Don’t blink Def-Con News readers because that change is coming. Patriots have been held “illegally” since January 6th of last year for speaking against the government. We will be next.
