The Biden regime isn’t happy with Jeff Bezos any longer.
Not after he criticized Biden over the weekend for ‘misdirection’ and lies.
This from therightscoop.com.
It began with Biden claiming that the key to bringing down inflation is to increase taxes on the wealthiest corporations:
You want to bring down inflation?
Let’s make sure the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share.
— Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) May 13, 2022
Bezos took the opportunity to make a joke about Biden’s new ‘disinformation board’ and pointed out that Biden’s tweet is essentially disinformation:
The newly created Disinformation Board should review this tweet, or maybe they need to form a new Non Sequitur Board instead. Raising corp taxes is fine to discuss. Taming inflation is critical to discuss. Mushing them together is just misdirection. https://t.co/ye4XiNNc2v

Biden also put out a tweet claiming that he’s on track to reduce the deficit by 1.5 trillion this year…
Under my predecessor, the deficit increased every single year.
This year, we’re on track to cut the deficit by $1.5 trillion – the biggest one-year decline ever.
It matters to families, because reducing the deficit is one of the main ways we can ease inflationary pressures.
— President Biden (@POTUS) May 14, 2022
And Bezos called him out on that one too, agreeing with someone else tweeting that Biden hasn’t done anything to reduce the deficit.
Bezos goes even further, though, saying that Biden nearly tried to pass even more trillions and that Manchin saved administration from themselves:
In fact, the administration tried hard to inject even more stimulus into an already over-heated, inflationary economy and only Manchin saved them from themselves. Inflation is a regressive tax that most hurts the least affluent. Misdirection doesn’t help the country. https://t.co/a8cygcunEG

And the Biden handlers must truly dislike the Manchin thorn being thrust again into their collective side.
The Regime responded with this statement below:
It doesn’t require a huge leap to figure out why one of the wealthiest individuals on Earth opposes an economic agenda for the middle class that cuts some of the biggest costs families face, fights inflation for the long haul, and adds to the historic deficit reduction the president is achieving by asking the richest taxpayers and corporations to pay their fair share.
Bezos hit back, mocking The Regime for the continued misdirection and accusing them of trying to ‘muddy the topic’.
He adds that if Biden had been successful at passing their 3.5 trillion dollar bill, inflation would be even worse…
Look, a squirrel! This is the White House’s statement about my recent tweets. They understandably want to muddy the topic. They know inflation hurts the neediest the most. But unions aren’t causing inflation and neither are wealthy people. Remember the Administration tried… pic.twitter.com/GaMb3Kiu72

their best to add another $3.5 TRILLION to federal spending. They failed, but if they had succeeded, inflation would be even higher than it is today, and inflation today is at a 40 year high.

Bezos is not wrong about this. And deserves a note of gratitude for so humorously saying what many of us already know but would only be shouted down if we tried to bring this to The Regime’s attention.
As someone pointed out in the responses, here’s the great Milton Friedman saying essentially the same thing.
This 45 second point/counter-point below is a MUST WATCH for the sheer enjoyment of being reminded just how damn wrong progressive democrat-communists are:
