With COVID-19 all but done, leftists are trying to scare people back into submission with Monkeypox. The problem, besides the fact that most people are already immunized against it, is that liberals have decided the disease sounds racist. With that, the World Health Organization is going to rename it. Once again, Trump was right to cut off funding to these anti-science clowns.

The World Health Organization will officially rename monkeypox, in light of concerns about stigma and racism surrounding the virus that has infected over 1,600 people in more than two dozen countries.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the WHO’s director general, announced Tuesday morning that the organization is “working with partners and experts from around the world on changing the name of monkeypox virus, its clades and the disease it causes.” He said the WHO will make announcements about the new names as soon as possible.
More than 30 international scientists said last week that the monkeypox label is discriminatory and stigmatizing, and there’s an “urgent” need to rename it.
“In the context of the current global outbreak, continued reference to, and nomenclature of this virus being African is not only inaccurate but is also discriminatory and stigmatizing,” the scientists’ group said in a letter online.
They don’t even have a new name yet? This kind of like when Washington dropped “Redskins” and became The Washington Football Team for a while. Until they find a new name for Monkeypox, will they be calling it the viral disease? Washington eventually became The Commanders so maybe they’ll end up calling Monkeypox “Commanderpox.”
My first thought on this unnecessary step is, doesn’t it pretty much say that scientists and the WHO think African people are monkeys if they’re worried Monkeypox is racist against them? They didn’t say they were worried that the name was stigmatizing against actual monkeys, so this is way more racist against black people than just leaving the name intact.
It’s also stupid since monkeys are found all over the world. In addition to Africa, monkeys are indigenous to North America, South America, and Asia. Again, this backs up the WHO’s racism for saying African people are pretty much monkeys.
Monkeypox is basically smallpox and if you were born before 1972, you are immunized against it. It also isn’t all that contagious and requires close personal contact, like swapping spit or having sex. This current “outbreak” has been traced rave events and gay extravaganzas in which there is a lot of casual sex between strangers. If you aren’t immunized against this, don’t let strangers buttf*ck you and you’ll be fine.
Hey, maybe the new name for Monkeypox is in there somewhere. They could call it “Pussypox” or “Buttsexpox.” No, those names would stigmatize sluts and Rump Rangers.
But hey, who am I to question the WHO? They did such a bang-up job with COVID, so I’m sure they know what they’re doing with renaming Monkeypox. I would however suggest if they want to get rid of racist-sounding disease names, do something about the Black Plague, Yellow Fever, and Scarlet Fever.
