PRIORITIES: Michigan City Decriminalizes Public Urinating and Defecating to Become More ‘Equitable’ As Inflation Hits 40-Year High and Companies Abandon the State

Sometimes it may be challenging to find a restroom when you need one. However, for most families, the genuine concern is being able to provide for their families as inflation has hit a 40-year high.

But, thanks to the stellar leadership (sarcasm) in Michigan, if you’re looking to relieve yourself in Kalamazoo, Michigan……no worries.

Thanks to changes to the West Michigan city’s ordinances, everyone in Kalamazoo, Michigan, can now go to the bathroom anywhere they like as city officials decriminalized the discharge of most bodily materials expelled in public spaces.

Public urination, defecation, and littering are now decriminalized from a misdemeanor to a civil infraction.

And these changes are causing furious business owners to sound the alarm after the city leaders voted, saying these will ultimately impact them and the people who visit the downtown area.

Becky Bil and Cherri Emery spoke with “Fox & Friends First” host Todd Piro on Thursday, relaying their concerns about the devastating impacts that could result.

Bil said:

I don’t have a horrible time outside my shop particularly… but my neighbor has had human feces outside his door.

The Pop City Popcorn co-owner also stressed her neighboring store owner’s struggle with an increase in littering, a struggle she says continues despite ambassadors coming to the area to help clean up.

Emery, who owns a chocolate and coffee shop in Kalamazoo, said she witnessed the consequences of lenient city leaders firsthand.

She said:

One day, we kept smelling something in the back of the store… and it was human feces.

I called my landlord, and nobody would do anything about it. This is before we had ambassadors… so I had to clean it up myself.

Bil shared that the city recently installed an approximately $100,000 fully furnished restroom near the Kalamazoo Mall—which houses Bil’s and Emery’s businesses—to help curb urine and feces on the streets.

She added, however:

The new bathroom is often locked.

And it is disconnected thinking like this that is running the entire state.

Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer and her entire regime appear to have their priorities out of line with what the people of Michigan need them to be. Unfortunately, it seems Michigan will continue to suffer under the current radical progressive wrongheaded leadership—at least until they can legally rid themselves of Whitless Whitmer.

For example:

Whitmer referred to women as “menstruating people” during a Zoom event on the same day a Michigan-based Kellogg Corporation announced they’re moving the largest part of their business to another state.

Kelloggs has been a mainstay in Battle Creek, MI, for decades. As the snack division in Kelloggs grew, so did the hopes of local residents for more job opportunities.

Still, unfortunately, Michigan’s [democrat governor] has had other priorities like “menstruating Michiganders.”

Whitmer made the comments after being asked about a proposed amendment to the Michigan state constitution protecting access to abortion for its citizens should the Supreme Court overturn Roe v. Wade.

On November 4, while individuals and businesses were suffering from the repercussions of her COVID shutdowns, Gov. Whitmer bragged about one of her biggest accomplishments as governor—the passing of a “bipartisan” bill that would remove taxes on tampons and other feminine products.

And from bad to worse, if topping Gretchen Witless is possible, do you remember reading about drag queens in Michigan schools?

Michigan Attorney General Dirty Dana Nessel calling for a drag queen in every school is another example that this leadership has lost touch.

Mauger tweeted:

‘Drag queens make everything better. Drag queens are fun,’ Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel says at a civil rights conference in Lansing while speaking out against what she describes as efforts to divide people. ‘A drag queen for every school,’ she adds.

According to the reporter:

Nessel added that the ‘drag queen for every school’ line had not been poll-tested.

Poll tested? Seriously? Based on this regime’s apparent priorities, they are NOT looking at polls of what the people of Michigan want.

Actually, one good guess would be that Gretchen Witless and her team of hobgoblins are performing at the state level what Obiden and his team of hobgoblins are performing at the federal level.

If not stopped, Michigan will be a collapse within a collapse. The Great Lake State—the Winter Water Wonderland—by way of democrat-communist malfeasance is being transformed into a Left Coast of the Mid-West.

The words may be geographically confusing, however, they describe appropriately just how the mal-leadership of the state has become compromised, perhaps by Soros’s millions, and has turned their vision from what the people of Michigan want and need to enhancing their personal wealth. Is there any other explanation for what Whitless et al are doing?

For the people of Michigan, there will be much continued suffering under the Gretchen Witless democrat-communist failed leadership.
