When he says “bin Laden” supporters, does he mean Muslims, like him?
Aside from calling half the country terrorists, what Obeidallah is trying to do here is equate the nothing burger January 6 protests with the deadly 9/11 terrorists attacks.
If J6 and 9/11 were the same thing, the Islamic terrorists wouldn’t have crashed any planes into buildings and 4 of them would have died at the hands of Air Marshals.
This is an absolutely ridiculous and insulting comparison. 3,000 Americans died on 9/11 and there was considerable destruction. The only people who died on J6 were 4 Trump supporters and the extent of the damage to the Capitol was a few broken windows and possibly a turd in Nancy Pelosi’s office.
Liberals keep trying to convince us that J6 was worse than 9/11 or Pearl Harbor, or the Holocaust but the reality is, it was a bunch of knuckleheads walking around calmly in the Capitol for an hour or so. J6 wasn’t even worse than a singe night in front of a South Los Angeles liquor store in terms of destruction and loss of life.

I have no idea why Obeidallah thinks Republicans are stealing the Taliban’s methods but I do know that he fucked this “joke” up completely. He meant to say “copyright infringement” not “trademark infringement.” A trademark protects things like logos and mascots. A copyright protects intellectual property.
This whole thing is part of the left’s attempt to portray conservatives, AKA the good productive people in this country, as radical extremists. In turn, it’s also part of the democratic party’s plan to frame Republicans as the enemy of the people.
The reality is, democrats and liberals are extremists and the true enemies of this country. They support criminals and then blame law-abiding gun owners for the deaths from their protected scumbags. They cause inflation in the name of “climate change” and then shame struggling families for killing the planet. They opened the borders to masses of third-world criminals and then accuse American victims of illegal immigration of racism for complaining.
Most of all, they rig elections and then cry “voter suppression” at any attempts to secure the vote.
Democratic party supporters are not only worse that bin Laden supporters, they’re right up there with Hitler and Stalin supporters.
