Anyone Interested: Shannon Bream Named Successor to Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday

Will this change encourage any of us to return to Sunday morning scheduled Fox News?

The wonderful Shannon Bream has just been named successor to Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday.

This from therightscoop.com.

Wallace left Fox News—but not before many of us did, in part because of him—last December and went to CNN where he crashed and burned—metaphorically speaking perhaps—and his career quickly went up in flames.

Now, for the first time in the history of Fox News Sunday, a woman has been named as anchor of the show.

I’ve always been a fan of Shannon Bream since back in the day. She’s an excellent journalist and she’ll do a much better job than Chris Wallace.

Shannon Bream is a smart, talented, attractive lady. She won the Miss Virginia USA pageant (1990) and the Miss America pageant (1991), and earned a Business Management Bachelor’s Degree, magna cum laude, from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia (1993).

She went on to law school and earned a JD from Florida State University College of Law.  While attending Florida State she entered and won the Miss Florida USA pageant (1995) and placed fourth in the Miss USA 1995 pageant.

Bream joined the Fox News Channel in November 2007, and was based in the network’s Washington, D.C. bureau. She then became the anchor/host of Fox News @ Night.

Great move Fox and congratulations to all you former Sunday morning news television viewers.

This may prove to be sufficient rationale to succumb to viewing Fox an hour a week–Sunday 9-10am. Is this change not at least worth giving the news program a try?
