It was a little hard to swallow the story that the FBI raided Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home looking for documents belonging to the National Archives. That story became even more unbelievable because now they are saying Trump had top-secret nuclear weapons materials, which is impossible. Then again, maybe he did. The FBI could have planted literally anything.
This latest witch-hunt against Trump began back in February when the National Archives and Records Administration claimed the former president had materials that belonged in the presidential archives. Trump cooperated completely and gave them 15 boxes worth of crap.
Then, on Monday, the FBI showed up to Trump’s Florida home with armored vehicles and machine guns to execute a search warrant related to the National Archives. They tore his house up in secret as they wouldn’t allow Trump’s lawyer to observe their raid. Whatever they took could have just as easily been brought in by the feds to frame Trump.
After initially claiming ignorance, Attorney General Merrick Garland confessed to having signed off on the FBI raid. Garland praised the FBI’s professionalism in carrying out this unprecedented and almost certainly illegal act.
Within minutes of Garland’s praise, the professionalism of the FBI reared its ugly head as leaks began to appear. The Washington Post reported that “people familiar with the investigation” said that the FBI was looking for and found documents related to nuclear weapons. Then, The New York Times reported that an anonymous source told them the FBI raid was focused on “some of the most highly classified programs run by the United States.”
If you haven’t figured out why this is the biggest steamiest pile of shit ever, allow me to elaborate:
Donald Trump left office in January of 2021. In February of 2022, the National Archives said he had some stuff that belonged to them. In August of 2022, the FBI raided his home because he allegedly has some of the most secret and dangerous classified information ever.
If these documents were so potentially dangerous in Trump’s hands, why did they wait 18 months to retrieve them? The only possible answer to that question is: because this whole thing is a load of shit.
Another reason to doubt this nuclear weapons nonsense is that, as President, Trump wouldn’t have just been handed all of these highly-classified documents. He would have been briefed on them by intelligence and Pentagon personnel but not physically handed the source material. Also, as the liberal media claims, Trump had zero interest in these kinds of briefings, preferring to watch Fox News instead.
I already pointed out that this raid on Trump is because the January 6 Committee has nothing on him and the democrats are desperate to keep him from running again in 2024. If they can prove he mishandled classified material, he could be jailed up to 5 years and, more importantly, barred from ever holding elected office again.
I still believe that to be the case but I’m starting to think there’s more to the story. Maybe Trump had some incriminating evidence against Joe and Hunter Biden for corruption and was sitting on it until a potential 2024 rematch. Trump is demanding that the feds release the documents they seized, so whatever it is will be very embarrassing to the current administration.
Whatever the case, we know this much is true: whatever Garland and the FBI is saying about the raid is a complete lie.
