Joe Biden blames Donald Trump for all his failures and takes credit for all the good things the former president has done. That is to say, Joe is a piece of shit. In his latest act of shitiness, Biden has taken credit for something a Republican Congress and President Trump did in 2017.

For millions of Americans, hearing aids and the doctor’s visit to get them prescribed are too expensive. In the executive order I issued last year to increase competition in key industries and lower costs, I called on the FDA to finally make hearing aids available over the counter.
Today, the FDA is doing just that. As early as mid-October, Americans will be able to purchase more affordable hearing aids over the counter at pharmacies and stores across the country. This action makes good on my commitment to lower costs for American families, delivering nearly $3,000 in savings to American families for a pair of hearing aids and giving people more choices to improve their health and wellbeing. And, it’s the latest action we are taking to make our economy more competitive and less concentrated.
As you can see, Biden says the FDA has made hearing aids available over-the-counter because of an executive order he issued in 2021. It must be true, right? It’s not like Joe would ever lie about this kind of thing.
Then again, ABC News tells us:
Millions of Americans will be able to buy hearing aids without a prescription later this fall, under a long-awaited rule finalized Tuesday.
The Food and Drug Administration said the new regulation cuts red tape by creating a new class of hearing aids that don’t require a medical exam, a prescription and other specialty evaluations. The devices will be sold online or over-the-counter at pharmacies and other retail stores.
Tuesday’s announcement follows prodding from medical committees and Congress, which in 2017 instructed the agency to lay out a plan for over-the-counter hearing devices.
As it turns out, hearing aids being available over-the-counter is because of the FDA Reauthorization Act in 2017, passed by Congress and signed by the president.
The year 2017 is significant here because at that time, Republicans controlled both chambers of Congress and Donald J. Trump was the President of the United States. That is to say, the reason for this is because of Trump and the Republicans, not because Joe Biden signed an executive order last year.

In 2017, Joe Biden was not the illegitimate POTUS, the vp, or even a Senator. He was just some old guy, sucking on his wife’s finger and trying to remember where the hell he lives.
Plagiarism is taking credit for the work of others and it’s something Biden has been doing as long as he’s been alive. Once again, unremarkable Joe stole from Trump to make it seem like he sucks less than he actually does.
