Inflation is at a 40-year high, we’re in a recession, and everything from gas to food costs double what it did a year ago. And yet, NBC conducted a poll that shows the most pressing concerns for Americans are vague threats to democracy. This is clearly an attempt by the liberal media outlet to influence the midterm elections, which ironically is an actual threat to democracy.
NBC conducted a poll of 1,000 registered voters but didn’t disclose the political affiliation of those surveyed. There’s a pretty good chance they were mostly democrats or even that they just made this shit up and nobody was actually polled at all.
In any case, one of the questions people were asked was what they thought the most important issue facing America was. Have a look:
As you can see, the thing that was picked most of all was threats to democracy. Again, the economy is in shambles and most people are struggling, but somehow people didn’t rank cost of living or the economy as the #1 issue facing this country? It don’t get any more bullshit than that.
I guess if they polled mostly rich coastal elites, they could get threats to democracy as the top concern but it seems unethical to not disclose that in the poll results.
Making it even harder to swallow is the fact that most Americans don’t even know what a threat to democracy is. Democrats have called the mild protests of January 6 a threat to democracy but that’s over with and the majority of this country doesn’t give a shit. Since most Americans don’t even know what a threat to democracy means, there’s no way a plurality of them think that’s the biggest problem in this country.
The bullshit gets piled on even thicker because the poll also showed that 75% of the respondents said the country is going in the wrong direction. The reason for that overwhelming majority is because the economy stinks and everything is too damn expensive. And yet neither the economy nor the cost of living was the biggest issue.
I guess if they polled mostly stupid people they could get these contradictory results.
What’s actually going on is a liberal media campaign to influence the 2022 midterm elections. Allow me to explain:
Joe Biden has done a such a shitty job and unleashed destruction upon the country that the democrats are looking at a slaughter in the midterms. That was the prognosis several months ago and nothing has changed.
But suddenly, the fake news industry is doing all of these pieces about how Joe has turned things around and is getting big wins, when none of that is true. And they’re starting to put out polls that say democrats are now favored to win the midterms. This NBC poll is a part of that.
The idea is to either convince people that democrats are going to win so jump on the bandwagon or don’t vote, or soften people up ahead of another election stolen by the left. If all of the polls show that democrats are leading and then there isn’t a red wave and they hang on to control of Congress, nobody is going to cry foul.
And like I said, that’s the actual threat to democracy but very few people are aware, which is another reason this NBC poll is bullshit.
